摘要： A constant velocity universal ball joint (1) has an outer part (2), an inner part (6) received therein, and a cage (11) arranged between the outer part (2) and inner part (3) to guide balls (17) which serves to transmit torque between the outer part (2) and inner part (6). The balls (17) are guided between parallel window faces (15, 16) of the cage (11). To improve the service life values and the running-in conditions of the joint, balls (17) are used whose surface is ground and have a defined roughness. Thus, in the case of tolerance errors, the window faces (15, 16) are worked off to such an extent as to achieve identical load bearing conditions at the balls.

摘要： A convoluted boot for constant velocity joints and a constant velocity joint lubricant for use in such a convoluted boot. An additive which is added to the constant velocity joint lubricant and/or to the convoluted boot material is provided. The additive comprises amide waxes and also may include hydrocarbon oils. Use is made, in particular, of monoamides and/or diamides of carboxylic acids with 8 to 50 carbon atoms to form, by diffusion, a lubricating film on the surface of a convoluted boot. Furthermore, oleic acid amide and/or ethylenediamine distearate result in a particularly early formation of a lubricating film on the outer boot surface and thus to a long-term prevention of noise.

In accordance with the invention, the objective is achieved in that the impregnating agent contains a carrier fluid, an oil dissolved in the carrier fluid and having a molecular weight of >200, and a wetting agent which is soluble in oil and which reduces the surface tension of the oil.

摘要： The invention provides a methodology to use cancer vaccination to overcome tumor resistance to immunostimulatory antibodies. Our cancer vaccination approach relies on targeting mutant tumor-specific peptides that have high affinity for the major histocompatibility complex. Treatment with bacteria expressing high affinity tumor-specific peptides combined with anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody can eradicate long-established tumors resistant to anti-PD-L1 and anti-CTLA-4 alone. In addition, we discovered that adoptive transfer of T cells with this same vaccine-generated T cell receptor specificity can also eradicate long-established tumors. These results demonstrate that cancer vaccination approaches should target peptides with high peptide-MHC affinity to (i) overcome tumor resistance to immunostimulatory antibodies and (ii) identify T cell receptors that can be used successfully for adoptive T cell transfer.

摘要： A lubricating grease composition of the type wherein mineral or synthetic oil is thickened to the properties of a lubricating grease with a polyurea compound as thickening agent, is provided, along with a method for preparation. The polyurea compound comprises the reaction product of an isocyanate with at least three isocyanate groups in the molecule with a long-chain, straight-chain or branched aliphatic monoamine to give extended temperature and wear properties. The process for the production of this lubricating grease composition involves dissolving the long-chain aliphatic amine or mixture of such amines in the base oil, adding thereto the isocyanate with at least three isocyanate groups, heating the mixture to a temperature of at least 160.degree. to bring about gelling, and mechanically, finely comminuting the gel product.
