    • There is provided an endoscope cleaner having: a plurality of cleaning vessels each of which can accommodate an endoscope; at least one disinfectant tank that holds a disinfectant, a first number of the at least one disinfectant tank being less than a second number of the plurality of cleaning vessels; disinfectant supply means for supplying the disinfectant from the at least one disinfectant tank to the plurality of cleaning vessels; disinfectant recovery means for recovering the disinfectant from the plurality of cleaning vessels to the at least one disinfectant tank; and a control unit that controls the disinfectant supply means and the disinfectant recovery means to control steps of a cleaning and disinfecting treatment to be performed in the plurality of cleaning vessels.

    • An aspect of the actuator for the moving body in tube according to the present invention is characterized by including: a first expansion/contraction member which includes a first portion that fills between the moving body in tube and the tube wall at the time of being expanded to come into contact with the tube wall, and a second portion that is brought into contact with the tube wall to generate propulsive force, and a part of which is fixed to the moving body in tube; a drive device which drives the first expansion/contraction member; and a control section which controls the first expansion/contraction member and the drive device, and is characterized in that the control section performs control so that the first portion of the first expansion/contraction member is made to become the second portion by the drive by the drive device so as to change the relative position between the moving body in tube and the tube wall.

    • The method is a method of rinsing an endoscope in an endoscope cleaner placed in a vessel. The method includes a step of charging a surfactant into a vessel in addition to water to fill the vessel with a first rinse water containing the surfactant, a step of rinsing the endoscope placed in the vessel with the first rinse water, a step of supplying only water into the vessel after rinsing with the first rinse water to fill the vessel with a second rinse water that does not contain the surfactant and a step of rinsing the endoscope with the second rinse water. In the method, the action of the surfactant contained in the detergent is effectively utilized in a rinsing treatment of the endoscope while the endoscope is rinsed to thereby ensure that re-deposition of dirt is suppressed to enhance the overall cleaning efficiency.
