The method can include implementing a cascaded hierarchy of techniques to determine, based on an electrical signal from a second node, a parameter of the PHY layer circuitry of the second node, and causing an antenna of the first node to transmit an electromagnetic wave consistent with the determined parameter.

摘要： Systems and methods of using machine-learning to improve communications across different networks are described. A CIRN node identifies whether it is within range of a source and destination node in a different network using explicit information or a machine-learning classification model. A neural network is trained to avoid interference using rewards associated with reduced interference or retransmission levels in each network or improved throughput at the CIRN node. A machine-learning scheduling algorithm determines a relay mode of the CIRN node for source and destination node transmissions. The scheduling algorithm is based on the probability of successful transmission between the source and destination nodes multiplied by a collaboration score for successful transmission and the probability of unsuccessful transmission of the particular packet multiplied by a collaboration score for unsuccessful transmission.

摘要： Embodiments of an Evolved Node-B (eNB), shared spectrum controller and methods for communication in shared spectrum are generally described herein. A mobile network shared spectrum controller may operate as part of a domain of a mobile network. A public shared spectrum controller may operate externally to the mobile network domain. The mobile network shared spectrum controller and the public shared spectrum controller may operate cooperatively to perform operations of a shared spectrum controller, such as management of secondary usage of shared spectrum by a group of eNBs. The mobile network shared spectrum controller may obfuscate at least a portion of network configuration information from the public shared spectrum controller to enable maintenance of confidential information within the mobile network domain.

A dynamic framework for fully realizing benefits of proposed dynamic frequency sharing systems, capable of operating across the full continuum of frequency sharing scenarios, such that any reasonable amount of spectrum that is available for any feasible duration may be allocated for dynamic sharing with cellular network operators is disclosed. A Dynamic Shared Access Spectrum Selection control in a cellular network comprises a processor configured to communicate spectrum needs to a Spectrum Decision Making Entity, receive, from the Spectrum Decision Making Entity, an identified most advantageous secondary spectrum opportunity, and accept the identified secondary spectrum opportunity from a Spectrum Broker communicatively coupled to the Spectrum Decision Making Entity.

摘要： Briefly, in accordance with one or more embodiments, a wireless system may be controlled to operate via time-division duplexing (TDD) in a first mode and operate via frequency-division duplexing (FDD) in a second mode. The mode of operation may be selected based at least in part on the available spectrum not utilized by a primary spectrum holder (PSH) in the vicinity of the wireless system. In one or more embodiments, control of operation between TDD and FDD, or between different realizations of the same duplex scheme, may be implemented by a cloud spectrum broker/controller, and in one or more alternative embodiments, control of operation between TDD and FDD may be implanted by the operator of the wireless system as an alternative spectrum holder (ASH).
