    • A method and device for data transmission in multiple antennas system are disclosed in the present invention. The method can be used in a transmission diversity mode, and includes: in the data transmission period, determining, according to the system transmission quality, the number of the turned off antennas and the turning off time; in the turning off time, turning off the determined number of antennas, turning on the rest antennas except the turned off antennas, and transmitting, via the rest antennas, the data to be transmitted; in the rest time of the data transmission period except the turning off time, turning on all the antennas, and transmitting, via all the antennas, the data to be transmitted. According to the invention, the dynamic transmission performance of the system can be ensured while the power consumption is reduced. Neither the increase of extra scheme design or signaling design, nor the change of the terminal is needed, and the implementation complexity is reduced.
