    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy resolution of radiation even with a simple configuration.
      SOLUTION: A scintillator, designed to convert radiation R into a light, shapes a rough right triangle in a profile including a radiation incident surface 201 where the radiation R enters, and a light emission surface 202 which is arranged orthogonal to the radiation incident surface 201 and emits a light generated by the radiation R, and an inclined plane 203 which joins the radiation incident surface 201 and the light emission surface 202 and is formed so that a distance from the radiation incident surface 201 in the incidence direction increases continuously or gradually as it goes from an anti-light emission surface 202 of the radiation incident surface 201 to the light emission surface 202.
