    • PURPOSE:To prevent a pin hole from being expanded even if a light material with low strength is used for a rotor body by making a frictional force at the discharge side larger than that at the suction side between the rotor body and shaft and providing a fixing pin nearly in the center of the whole frictional force. CONSTITUTION:Steel shafts 7, 8 are press fitted respectively into center holes of light alloy rotor bodies 5, 6 to be coupled frictionally therewith and further fixing pins 9, 10 extending diametrally through the rotor bodies 5, 6 and shafts 7, 8 are press fitted respectively into rotors 3, 4 of a screw pump. A frictional force between the rotor bodies 5, 6 and shafts 7, 8 at the discharge side of the rotor bodies 5, 6 is made larger than that at the suction side and fixing pins 9, 10 are provided approximately in the center of all frictional forces. As a result, axial frictional resistances in the axial direction of shaft fitting parts opposing to the thermal deformation of the rotor bodies 5, 6 are nearly well-balanced in the position of the fixing pins 9, 10. The axial thermal stress of the rotor bodies 5, 6 acting on the fixing pins 9, 10 planted in the shaft fitting parts is small and surface pressure acting on the pin holes 21, 22 does not exceed an allowable value.
