    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like damping material to be adhered to a requisite location of the damping material at a floor part in a vehicle body that can be used by being adhered not only to the floor part in the vehicle body but also to another location at the vehicle body.
      SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sheet-like damping material of which body is adhered to a requisite location of the damping material at the floor in an assembled vehicle body. This sheet-like damping material has a sheet-like joint material connecting the sheet-like damping materials to each other. The sheet-like joint material is formed to have extendable or shrinkable fiber mixed with manufacturing material for the damping material. The sheet-like joint material is adhered to and fixed over its adjoining sheet-like damping material and the sheet-like damping material is connected to it.

The magnetic sheet 1 is fixed temporarily to the steel sheet 3 at a prescribed position by magnetic force alone, heated, and fusion-bonded. Since the sheet 1 is fixed temporarily by magnetic force alone, the release paper which has been necessary so far is made unnecessary, contributing to the improvement of workability and the reduction of waste. SOLUTION: This coating-type reinforcing material for the steel plate requires 60-85% gel fraction in a cured product after the lapse of 30 min to 1 hr after coating a mixture obtained by mixing a main material with a curing agent and heated to 30-50 deg.C, or 50-70 hardness of the cured film, measured by a C-type tester provided by JIS K6301 after the lapse of 30 min to 1 hr after coating the mixture heated to 30-50 deg.C. The above condition for the heated and coated reinforcing material after the lapse of 30 min to 1 hr after the coating is required for providing the coated film which is sufficiently cured and can resist to the water current and shower in a hot water washing step. Optionally, the coating-type reinforcing material for the steel plate having the required properties is obtained by adding an epoxy-reactive diluent, a filler or the like.
