摘要： The present invention provides: a process for formation of a coating film on a plastic material, which process enables formation of the coating film with good productivity wherein the coating film is excellent in the adhesion, the humidity-resisting adhesion, and the gasohol resistance, and has good appearance; and a coated article. The process for formation of a coating film on a plast ic material is a process for formation of a coating film, which process compris es the steps of: coating the plastic material with a specific aqueous primer coatin g composition; and thereafter drying the resultant primer coating film in such a manner that its nonvolatile content will not be less than 70 weight %; and thereaft er overcoating the primer coating film with a specific aqueous base paint composition; and thereafter drying the resultant base coating film in such a manner that its nonvolatile content will not be less than 60 weight %; and thereafter overcoating the base coating film with a two-component clear paint; and thereafter baking th e resultant three-layered coating film onto the plastic material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a coating film of a plastic material capable of forming a coating film in which adhesiveness, wet-proof adhesiveness and gasohol resistance are excellent and an appearance is good with good productivity, and a coated article. SOLUTION: The method is for forming a coating film in which after the plastic material is coated with a specific water base primer coating composition, it is dried such that a nonvolatile component of the obtained primer coating film becomes 70 wt.% or higher, after the primer coating film is coated with a specific water-base base coating composition, it is dried such that a nonvolatile component of the obtained base coating film becomes 60 wt.% or higher and after the base coating film is coated with two liquid clear coatings, the obtained coating film of three layers is baked on the plastic material. The method for forming the multilayer coating film also includes a pre-heat process between the processes (1) and (2) and between the processes (3) and (4). In the aqueous color base coating composition, the viscosity A of the coating film immediately after coating is 80,000-165,000, and the viscosity B of the coating film immediately before the process (3) is 100,000 or more.
