    • PURPOSE:To cool a large edge part bearing through a crank pin by allowing the lubricating oil in a transmission chamber to circulate through a pump into oil passages which communicate from one edge part of a crankshaft to the other edge part, passing through the inside of the crank pin. CONSTITUTION:As for a two-cycle engine in which an oiltight transmission chamber 21, containing a transmission interlocked with a crankshaft 7, is installed integrally with the engine body, oil passages 33 and 34 are formed on the crankshaft 7 so a to pass from one edge of the crankshaft 7 to the other edge side, passing through the inside of a crank pin 6. Lubricating oil in the transmission chamber 21 is allowed to circulate into the oil passages 33 and 34 through an oil pump 38. Accordingly, the crank pin 6 is cooled, and a bearing 19 at a large edge part 18 is lubricated by the lubricating oil in the mixed gas. Accordingly, even if the quantity of the mixed gas which is introduced into the bearing 19 at the large edge part 18 is not sufficient for cooling the bearing 19, sufficient cooling is carried out by the transmission lubricating oil which circulates inside the crank pin 6, and the rise of the bearing temperature is prevented, and the seizure resistance is improved.

      SOLUTION: A standard space set based on a plurality of parameters related to cylinder pressure detected in a pressure detector 4 at normal combustion of an internal combustion engine E is stored in standard space storing means 9, and Mahalanobis' distance between the standard space and the parameters related to the cylinder pressure detected in the detector 4 is calculated by distance calculating means 10. Decision means 11 determines that knocking occurs when the Mahalanobis' distance exceeds a predetermined value.
