    • PURPOSE:To heat a mold uniformly in short cycle time by a method in which a slush mold is preheated by hot blast and is heated to prescribed allowable temperature range for molding by radiation heating and then its preheating temperature is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A mold 12 is one step-heated by hot blast in a first heating station 13, and the mold 12 is heated to prescribed preheating temperature in short time at less temperature-difference. The mold 12 is two steps-heated by a burner 42 in a second heating station 14 and is heated to the range T of the allowable temperature for molding in short time at less temperature difference. Then, the preheating temperature of the mold 12 heated by one step heating is set to be higher than the heating temperature T1 at the part where the time axis corresponding to the time t2 wherein radiation heating time(t) of second step is subtracted from the heating time t1 of temperature- raising curve D2 at the shortest heating time in which the mold 12 may be heated to the allowable temperature range for molding by only radiation heating, crosses the temperature-raising curve D2. Accordingly, the mold 12 is one step- heated to the set preheating temperature and then is radiation-heated exactly to the allowable temperature range T for molding through the two steps-heating.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently and uniformly heat a molding die by a method wherein a slush molding die is rotated in a heating furnace and a process, in which the molding die is stopped at the predetermined angular position when necessary, and a process, in which the inner surface part and the outer surface part of the slush molding die are heated by the rediant heat emitted from burners, which are arranged so as to direct to a rotating axis center, are provided. CONSTITUTION:A slush molding die 12 is rotated in a heating furnace 42 and, at the same time, stopped for the predetermined periods of time respectively at the predetermined angles R1-R4. For this, the inner surface part 12b and the outer surface part 12a of the slush molding die 12 are successively heated over heating ranges H1-H7 by radiant heat emitted from a plurality of burners 44, which are arranged so as to direct to the axis center O acting as the rotating axis center of the slush molding die 12. Further, by selecting the angles R1-R4 and the heating ranges at the respective angles, the whole molding surface of the slush molding die 12 can be efficiently and uniformly heated in a short period of time. Thus, the efficient whole molding process of skin body is easily realized and the high quality skin body can be obtained.
