    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle roof mount antenna which has a very simple structure but can prevent an antenna rod from being damaged by excluding the effect of an external force on the antenna rod and can automatically and easily return an attachment angle to a predetermined position. SOLUTION: The vehicle roof mount antenna having an antenna base 31 which attaches the antenna rod so as to be capable of swiveling, includes: a joint assembly 32 which consists of a cylindrical member in an axial direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rod at one end of the antenna rod; a pair of pivotal support portions 31a, 31b provided so as to confront an upper portion of the antenna base 31 so as to mount the joint assembly 32 on a pivot in a swiveling manner, a bolt 37 and a nut 39 which are inserted into a through- hole 311 provided to the pivotal support portion 31a, pierce the joint assembly 32 and the other pivotal support portion 31b and are fastened together, and a torsion spring 35 which is provided with respect to the joint assembly 32 and automatically returns the joint assembly 32 to a predetermined swiveling position by giving the elasticity of itself even if a swiveling position of the joint assembly 32 is changed due to an external force applied to the antenna rod.     • PURPOSE:To improve operability by selecting a desired acoustic source in accordance with the acoustic source identification data corresponded to an operated selection button and automatically setting the reverberation characteristic of a reverberation adding device to the preselected characteristic in accordance with the reverberation mode data. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 8 discriminates the reverberation mode selection button operated by a key scan when one of the reverberation mode selection buttons 14 of an operating section 12 is operated. The microcomputer reads a parameter out of a memory 16 in accordance with the reverberation mode data corresponding to the operated reverberation mode selection button 14 and sets this parameter in the reverberation adding circuit of the reverberation adding device 9. The frequency data (a) previously stored in a memory 15 is read out in correspondence to the operated preset channel selection button 13 when one (for example, FM1) of the plural preset channel selection buttons 13 of the operating section 12 is operated. This frequency data (a) is set in a variable frequency divider of a PLL circuit 4 and the broadcasting of a desired broadcasting station is received. The operation is facilitated in this way.
