摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the re-start-up of an engine at the time of warming up by effectively utilizing the small number of ignition timing at the time of start-up of a manual start-up engine. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection valve starting unit 38 outputs the starting signal s2 on the basis of the rise of ECU detecting signal supplied from a completion of reset operation detecting unit 37 to open an injection valve 10. The first fuel injection is performed independently from the existence of TDC pulse. The first fuel injection is performed during the time set by a timer 35, and thereafter, the fuel is injected for a valve open time read from a map memory 36 on the basis of the detecting signal s4 of the TDC pulse. At the time of engine stop operation, the fuel is injected for a predetermined time by an engine stop control unit 42 after the turn-off of an ignition switch till the output of a motor becomes the operating voltage of the ECU or less.

A preset value of a timer 35 is output from a table 41 based on an engine water temperature, and only for this time, the first fuel injection is performed. Fuel injection thereafter is performed in accordance with opening time set in a map memory 36 based on a detection signal S4 of the TDC pulse.

CONSTITUTION:When the reset operation of a micro computer 36 is completed, a pre-driver 37 is energized in response to the control output from a port to drive a driver 38. As a result, current is supplied to a coil 10a of an injection valve to open the injection valve. On the other hand, before the start-up of the micro computer 36, a starting pre-driver 39 is energized immediately after the start of the reset operation by the voltage appeared in a reset line. As a result, the driver 38 is driven before the start-up of the micro computer 36 to supply the power to the coil 10a, and the fuel is injected. After the start-up of the micro computer 36, the fuel is injected on the basis of a preset pattern in response to the control output of the micro computer 36.

A thermostat 8 is installed in the upper part of the wall surface of the cylinder block 2 approx. perpendicular to the mounting surface for water pump 7, and the mounting surface for the thermostat 8 is located close to this mounting surface for water pump 7. Thereby the cylinder block 2 and the coolant bypass shortcircuiting from cylinder head side to water pump 7 side can be formed within the cylinder block 2 and cylinder head. This enables elimination of using such parts as rubber tube or clamp for the bypass.
