摘要： A heads-up display system for a road vehicle, comprising sensors for detecting the motion related parameters of the vehicle, computer for predicting the motion of the vehicle, and a heads-up display for displaying information within the view of the driver of the vehicle. The computer converts the predicted motion of the vehicle into an image display on the heads-up display so as to permit the driver to see the image display in a certain relationship with his view as he looks ahead of the vehicle. 摘要： A steering system for the front and rear wheels of an automotive vehicle comprises a front wheel steering mechanism having an output shaft, a rear wheel steering mechanism having an input shaft coupled to the output shaft, an output member for steering the rear wheels, and a motion converting mechanism for converting rotation of the input shaft to movement of the output member, a vehicle speed sensor, and a control unit connected to the vehicle speed sensor for controlling operation of the motion converting mechanism dependent on the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed sensor. The motion converting mechanism comprises a shaft angularly movable by the input shaft, the shaft having an arm extending radially from one end thereof, a guide mounted on the output member and extending in a vertical direction transverse to an axis of the output member, a slide assembly disposed between and interconnecting the arm and the guide, and a drive device controlled by the control unit for moving the slide assembly along the guide. The drive device includes a gear mechanism connected with said slide assembly and a pair of motors coupled to the gear mechanism for driving the same, the pair of motors being driven in association with each other.

摘要： Disclosed is an actuator for steering the rear wheels in front and rear wheel steering device for vehicle in which the external forces, such as the self aligning torque of the rear wheels and irregularities of the road surface, which may be applied to the rear wheels are prevented from being transmitted to the actuator for controlling the steering angle of the rear wheels. Thereby, the steering angle of the rear wheels are determined solely by the control action of the front and rear wheel steering device and the motion of the vehicle is not affected by external forces. As a result, the vehicle motion is stabilized. When the force for steering the front wheels is transmitted to the rear wheels to steer them, elimination of the reaction from the road to the actuator prevents undesirable variation in the force required to steer the vehicle or the force required to hold a steering angle. Elimination of reaction to the actuator can be accomplished by worm gears, screw threads and so on in which the lead angle is smaller than the friction angle.
