    • PURPOSE:To prevent burning to sharply improve a durable life by providing guide plates spaced at regular intervals with surface plates over the whole width in an inner space of a fire grate block, forming cooling water passages between the surface plate and the guide plate and connecting a water feed pipe of cooling water and an drain pipe at both end parts of the cooling water flow passage. CONSTITUTION:The flow of cooling water supplied to a water feed header 25 by a pump is controlled by a flow regulating valve 27 in a water feed edge pipe 26 to feed water in each fire grate block 10 from a water feed conduit 29 of a flexible water feed pipe 28 so as to supply to the fire grate block 10. Cooling water introduced in the fire grate block 10 from the water feed pipe 21 is uniformly dispersed from a spray nozzle 20a in the width direction of a cooling water passage 18 to flow in the reverse direction to waste sent direction so as to uniformly cool the surface plate 11 of the fire grate block 10. The cooling water after cooling is drained from a water collected nozzle 22a to send water to the fire grate block 10. The cooling water by which the final fire grate 10 is cooled is supplied to a drain header 32 from a drain end pipe 31 of a flexible drain pipe 30 of a drain pipe 23.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent oxidation of SiC bricks and improve the durability thereof by constituting two layers of air cooling chambers at the side wall and back surface of the incinerator, applying forced draft to the air cooling chamber on the side contiguous to the side wall of the incinerator and applying natural draft to the other cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:The part facing the furnace combustion zone of the side walls 9 of the incinerator, is fitted with a brick assembly 11 having a configuration in which a required number of SiC bricks 11A larger than ambient bricks are disposed in parallel to each other. In this case, a shround 13 is provided around the periphery of a space between the above brick assembly 11 and an outer plate 12, and the space is partitioned into a forced air cooling chamber 15 and a natural air cooling chamber 16 by a partition plate 12A. An air blast pipe 16 branched from a combustion air feed pipe 19 led from a fan 18 to the inside of the incinerator and an exhaust pipe 19, are connected to the forced air cooling chamber 15, and the exhaust pipe 19 is directly opened from the lower part of the forced air cooling chamber 15 directly toward part of the grate.
