摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a useless pipe projecting in a lateral direction from a main pipe by providing the pipe-joined part in the same direction as the axis of the joined pipe in an electro-fusion type branch joint having a body part vertically mounted on a saddle part with a buried heating wire and a pipe-joined part branched from the body part. SOLUTION: An elector-fusion type branch joint 1 has a saddle part 7 having a heating wire buried in the inner peripheral surface thereof and a body part 2 disposed vertically on the saddle 7 and a cap 4 screwed on the top thereof via a sealing member. A pipe-joined part 3 is branched at a right angle in a lateral direction from the body part 2 and the pipe-joined part 3 is projected in the same direction as she axis of the joined pipe 20, whereby a projecting pipe can be eliminated because the branch supply pipe 50 can be joined only via an elbow 30. When a fusion joining operation is performed, the joint 1 is clamped at the drilling part of the joined main pipe 20 and a current is passed through connector parts 6, 6, whereby the joint 1 is fused and joined to the main pipe 20.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extract water at a water pooling portion by constituting a cap for extracting water mounted on a saddle type branch coupling fixed to a gas conduit so as to extend a cylinder body to the upper side of a body part attachably screwed into the saddle type branch coupling. SOLUTION: When a saddle type branch coupling 20 is connected with a city gas main pipe 10, a connector pin 25 is connected with a cable, wire 26 of a saddle part is energized and an electric fusion connection is performed, after the saddle part is fixed to the city gas main pipe 10. Next, a cap for closing is removed from a main body 22, a punching tool is mounted on the main body 22 and the city gas main pipe 10 is punched. Next, in a state that a no-blow back is mounted on the main body 22, the punching tool is removed and a cap 1 for extracting water is mounted on an upper tip part of the main body 22. A water discharge pipe 12 is inserted into a cylinder body 3 of the cap 1 and the pipe 12 is inserted into the city gas main pipe 10 through a branch port 23 of the main body 22. In this state, water in the city gas main pipe 10 is sucked by a sucking device 13 and is discharged.

Thus, when the cap 3 is screwed into the joint main body 2 and the second O-ring is hidden inside the bottom end 32 of the cap and becomes invisible, the first O-ring 5 is also sealed.
