    • PURPOSE:To provide a tube fitting, which is easily adaptable to tube connection, injection molding and change of specifications for special form tube fittings and various shapes, by bonding both ends of an intermediate member through electric fusion bonding to the respective one ends of a pair of connecting members, to whose opposite ends plastic tubes are to be connected. CONSTITUTION:A pair of connecting members 10 and 11 are provided so as to have the internal diameter, into which a pair of plastic tubes to be connected to the connecting members 10 and 11 can be inserted, and in addition, two series of electric heating wires 12 and 17 are buried in the respective internal peripheries. Furthermore, two series of connector pins 13 and 14 are buried in both ends of the respective connecting members 10 and 11 so as to project outwards, and in addition, both ends of the respective electric heating wires 12 and 17 are connected to the connector pins 13 and 14. Furthermore, the respective one ends 15 and 16 of the respective connecting members 10 and 11 are engaged with both ends of an intermediate member 60. Then, the respective connecting members 10 and 11 are bonded to the intermediate member 60 by electric fusion bonding through supplying current to the electric heating wires 12 of the engaged connecting members 10 and 11 from a controller 3. On the other hand, in order to connect tubes, electric fusion bonding is performed by supplying current to another electric heating wires 17 after inserting the respective tubes into the respective opposite ends of the respective connecting members 10 and 11.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a tube fitting, which can be formed and connected easily, by integrally connecting both ends of an intermediate member to the respective opposite ends or a pair of connecting members, which have been provided with an electric heating wire arranged at an internal periphery of the end, into which a tube is to be inserted, and a connector pin arranged at an external periphery. CONSTITUTION:A pair of connecting parts 10 and 11 have respective sleeves 15 and 16 having male threads at the respective central sides and internal diameters into which respective plastic tubes to be connected to the connecting parts 10 and 11 can be inserted. In addition, respective electric heating wires 12 are buried in the internal periphery. Furthermore, respective connector pins 13 and 14 are buried at both ends of the respective connecting members 10 and 11 so as to project outwards respectively, and both ends of the electric heating wires 12 are connected to the connector pins 13 and 14. Furthermore, respective female threads 61 and 62 formed on both ends of an intermediate member 60 are engaged with the respective male threads of the respective connecting members 10 and 11 through packings 63. In order to connect tubes by this tube fitting, the respective tubes are fusion-bonded with this tube fitting by supplying current to the electric heating wires 12 after inserting the tubes into the respective opposite sides of the respective connecting members 10 and 11.

    • PURPOSE:To perform simple and reliable melting and joining of resin by a method wherein a plurality of inner cylinders in a pipe fitting and a central part except the mounting area of a resin pipe are surrounded with an outer cylinder member formed of thermoplastic molten resin and a heating wire disposed on the outer surface of the inner cylinder member is energized. CONSTITUTION:In an electric fusion type plastic pipe fitting 1, a main part comprises inner and outer cylinder members 10 and 20. In this case, the inner cylinder member 10 is formed in the shape of a thin cylinder with a given bore formed of thermoplastic resin and a groove 12 in which a heating wire 11 is placed is formed in the outer surface thereof. The connector pins 13 and 14 of the heating wire 11 are disposed to the outer surfaces of two ends. The inner members 10 are arranged to the mounting parts of resin pipes 50, intended to be interconnected, at the two end parts of the pipe fitting 1. Further, the outer surface of the inner cylinder member 10 and the central part of the resin pipe 50 are surrounded with the outer cylinder member 20 for integral formation. By feeding a power to the heating wire 11, only the outer peripheral surface of the resin pipe 50 is heated with high efficiency and the resin pipes 50 are properly molten and interconnected.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a core conveying line and a receiving tray for conveying many cores and to simplify jigs and devices in a method for inserting cores which synchronizes a molding line for casting and a core molding machine by cooling quickly the cores molded at an ordinary temp. or above by a cooling source. CONSTITUTION:Uncured sand is inserted from a hopper 1 into a receiver 2 and is packed into a metallic mold for molding core positioned beneath a receiver 2 from the top surface of an upper mold box 4a of said mold by a box carrier 6 which is moved back and forth by the compressed air of a blow head 3. The upper and lower mold boxes 4a, 4b are kept heated at all times and the uncured sand therein is quickly solidified by the effect of the thermosetting resin incorporated their. The box 4a is then hoisted by a core stripper 7 and is transferred onto a heat insulating holding tank 9 contg. liquid nitrogen by a carriage 8. The core 12 held in the box 4a is ejected by ejector pins 13 onto a dipping plate 11 in the upper part of the tank 9 and is dipped and cooled by a lifter 14 into the nitrogen 10. The core 12 on the plate 11 moved upward by the lifter 14 is sucked by a suction plate 15 upon completion of the cooling and is inserted into a drag mold 17b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten earthquake resistance and supply a large capacity of flow by providing two saddle type branch pipe joints at a specified distance on the outer peripheral surface of a main pipe, and communicating the branch takeoff ports of the respective branch pipe joints through a different diameter T-shape pipe joint in piping structure of a synthetic resin pipe piped underground. SOLUTION: Two saddle type branch pipe joints 20 are disposed at a specified distance on the outer peripheral surface of a main pipe 10 made of polyethylene and piped in an underground excavated hole 11, and these branch pipe joints 20 are connected to the main pipe 10 by electric fusion by applying a current to each connector 20a through a cable. Each branch pipe joint has a boring cutter built in a through hole of a joint body 21 so as to be able to bore the main pipe 10 after electric fusion connection. After boring, a cap 23 is thread-fastened to the joint body 21 through an O-ring to keep airtightness. Branch takeoff ports 22 of the right and left branch pipe joints 20 are connected and communicated by an electric-fusion-welded type T-shape pipe joint 24.
