    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a motor from being over-heated, to prevent fingers or the like from being caught and to improve safety by constituting a massage instrument to stop whole driving means in case an over-load is added to any one of driving means. SOLUTION: In case a load on plural geared motors, for example, the two motors M and M arranged in a treating body becomes the over-load, the over- current is respectively detected by over-current detecting circuits 7. The whole geared motors M are stopped based on the detection in configuration. A control part 8a and a timer 8b are arranged in a circuit. When a fixed time, for example, 15 minutes elapses after a massage part is driven, time is up in the timer 8b and the control part 8a resets the whole system. Besides, when the over- current detecting circuits 7 detect the over-current, time is forcibly up in the timer 8b and the control part 8a resets the whole system. By the configuration, an accident owing to the over-load such as motor over-heating and finger catching is prevented and safety is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To inhibit the frequent turning OFF of a power source even though measurement is stopped unless the state when a heat sensitive element is below a specified temperature continues for a specified time, by adopting the two factors, namely the detected temperature of the heat sensitive element and the counted time, as the conditions of the power source OFF. CONSTITUTION:A probe part 1' of one end of a case 1 including a heat sensitive element 2 has a gradually thinning shape, so that the heat sensitive element 2 can be readily inserted into the mouth or the armpit. The other end has a constitution so that a part of it can be separated and attached and a power source battery can be replaced. The heat sensitive element 2 is formed by a thermistor and a cap, which protects the thermistor from mechanical shocks. A sliding type switch 3, which turns ON and OFF the power source, and a display device 4, which displays the liquid crystal numbers as the result of the temperature measurement, are provided in an opening part provided in the case 1. A measured temperature display circuit 5 digitalizes the electric signal corresponding the temperature of the heat sensitive element 2 and makes the display device 4 to display the result. For example, a silver oxide battery is used for a power source microbattery 6, which is enclosed in the rear end part of the case 1.

    • PURPOSE:To execute an exact time correction which coincides with a time signal by correcting a display time to a correction time specified by an advance notice sound by interlocking with detection of the advance notice sound, and also, waiting for detection at the time of a correct sound and defining the corrected time. CONSTITUTION:The time correction is constituted of an advance notice sound repeated plural times until immediately before a correct time at a prescribed interval, and a correct time sound which starts its output in accordance with a correct time and continues for a prescribed time. In such a state, at the time of time correction, the display time is corrected to a correction time specified by the advance notice sound by interlocking with detection of the advance notice sound, and also, after waiting for the detection of a correct time sound, the corrected time is defined. That is, a time-cast signal processing circuit 12 separates and fetches an advance notice sound 24 of 440Hz and a correct time sound 25 of 880Hz for constituting a time-cast signal 23 of NHK by using a filter from a sound signal 8 outputted from a tuner 2, discriminates whether the fetched signal is the time-cast signal 23 or not, and thereafter, when it is confirmed to be the time-cast signal 23, a time correcting signal 26 is sent to a timepiece circuit 11 at a prescribed timing. In such a way, an exact time correction which coincides with a time-cast signal can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To surely discriminate rechargeable cells depending on different charging current and capacities and dry cells when a charger is used for charging by providing a cell kind discriminator which actuates a switching part allocated in charging circuit of a charger, if detected. CONSTITUTION:A charger 2 is composed of a circuit board 3 embedded in a box type case 4. A rechargeable cell 1 is mounted for charging on an installation part 5, which is located at concavity of an upper side of the case as a channel. Spring leaves of terminal members 6, 7 are equipped to contact with an extruding positive electrode 8 and negative electrode 9 located at external wall of the rechargeable cell 1. A cell kind discriminator 11 comprising ring-type magnet is allocated surrounding the base of the extruding positive electrode 8 at lateral side. When the rechargeable cell 1 is mounted on the installation part 5, a charging circuit actuates to close a circuit by a magnetic force of the discriminator 11 and the rechargeable cell 1 is charged. By the arrangement for allocating the discriminator 11 in the rechargeable cell 1, the cell 1 can be surely discriminated from dry cell.
