    • PURPOSE:To automatically enable pair identification against its conductor number without arranging measures at both ends by providing means for transmitting test signals out of a voice band to a feed line leading to one end of a multiconductor cable to be tested. CONSTITUTION:A switching box portion B installed inside a station has a relay matrix 52 so formed as to selectively connect each terminal and the feed line of a cable C to be tested to the test spring of an MDF(main wiring board), and the switching box portion B is controlled by a control signal transmitted from a controller portion A via a control cable Lc and performs selective control action. A controller connected to the manhole side transmits a test signal whose frequency is out of a voice band(e.g. 10Hz) via a feed line terminal 10 to the feed line of the cable C to be tested and a conductor number to which the test signal should be sent back is designated by a control signal transmitted from modem/voice terminals 12, 13 to the control cable Lc and further a conductor to which the test signal has been sent back is detected by a probe line terminal 11 and a detector for test signals. Checking is thus automated and there is no need for measurers to be arranged at both ends.

    • The invention disclosed pertains to time division switching systems used in digital telephone switching and in data communication. In prior, systems, the maximum number of simultaneous connections between pairs of subscribers is half the number of time slots in a communication path. The present invention permits the degree of multiplexing to be equal to the time slots in a communication path. It involves the use of a code coveting circuit for receiving two digital signals from two line circuits participating in one communication and for producing a third digital signal indicating the relationship between the two digital signals. A common bus distributes the third signal to the respective line circuits. A control memory stores many address pairs for the two line circuits. Control circuitry allots one time slot to the two line circuits so that information is changed periodically between the two line circuits by an address pair obtained periodically from the memory. A code inverse-converting circuit in each line receives the third digital signal and the digital signal from its own line to reproduce the digital signal of the other line.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent unpleasant squelch noise caused in a master station from reaching a talker of the master station by allowing a slave station to interrupt a transmission radio wave in a short time every prescribed time based on a reference of a control signal in common to the master station and the slave station and allowing the master station to interrupt a demodulation signal output synchronously therewith. CONSTITUTION:A master station sends a control signal to set a channel to a slave station and a slave station discriminates a received signal. When a call to its own station is recognized, a ratio wave is sent to set a channel to attain the communication. In this case, the slave station generates a timing of a prescribed period started by the control signal to stop the transmission radio wave in a short time t1 for each prescribed time T based on the timing. Other slave stations stop send an interruption radio wave to the master station by utilizing the time t1 based on the timing.
