    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell in which power generation can be continued by using a normal power generation cell even when a failure occurs to either one of the power generation cells and extreme deterioration of power generating performance can be suppressed as the whole fuel cell.
SOLUTION: This is the solid oxide fuel cell 1 which is provided with a plurality of serially connected power generation cells 7, supplies fuel gas and oxidizer gas to each of those power generation cells 7 to make it cause power generation reaction. A prescribed numbers of individual power generation cells or serially connected power generation cells are made to be power generation blocks 30, and bypass diodes 25 are connected in parallel with respective power generation blocks 30.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress resonance in a DC system and enable stable power transmission/reception by a method wherein the 1st effective power command of a voltage-type power converter is outputted in accordance with a power command corresponding to each voltage-type power converter and the detection value of a power detecting means. SOLUTION: A power detection circuit 107 outputs an effective AC power P=Vu×Iu+Vv×Iv+Vw×Iw by using AC voltages Vu, Vv and Vw of respective phases which are detected by voltage detectors 104 and AC currents Iu, Iv and Iw of respective phases which are detected by current detectors 105. The effective power P is approximately equal to a power which is subjected to AC-DC conversion by the voltage-type power converter 101. The detected effective AC power P is inputted to a power control circuit 120. A power deviation between the effective AC power P and a power command value Pref is calculated by a calculator 121 and amplified and the effective power command value Pac of the voltage-type power converter 101 is outputted. By this operation, the effective AC power P is so adjusted as to agree with the power command value Pref.
