The container program of an object program is kept in the storage medium driving device 125, and based on the request of the information processor 101, a CPU 122 transfers the container program of the program through buses 131 and 123, a communication equipment 128 and the communication route 114 to the information processor 101. The large amount of the component programs are locally held in the information processor 101, the container program of a small capacity is obtained from the external information processor 121 through the network, they are assembled in an executable form locally in the information processor 101 and then, the object program is executed.

SOLUTION: When a projection display is executed, a video signal transmitted to a controller 404 through a signal conductor 402 is converted into a projection video signal by the controller 404 and transmitted to an optical system 410 through a signal conductor 409. When the projection direction is changed, a direction changing signal 403 designating the projection direction arbitrarily set by a user and outputted from a control panel or a remote controller becomes effective and is transmitted to the controller 404. This controller 404 generates a rotational signal for indicating the change in the projection direction and the projection direction, in accordance with the direction changing signal 403 and the casing of the liquid crystal projector 401 is rotated on its center axis 412, to obtain projection in a set direction.

A mouse cursor moving means 14 calculates the cursor coordinates and moves the cursor on the screen. Consequently, the movement quantity of the cursor can be decreased.

Further, when a coordinate input device 111 that an input is performed by directly instructing the display picture is attached to the display device 108 with the small resolution, since a detected coordinate is different from an intended instructive coordinate value, by performing the control so as to multiply the detected coordinate by a reciprocal number of a reduction rate, the coordinate value is made to coincide with the detected coordinate. For instance, even when the coordinate is instructed on the central part (central part of 640×480 of reduced display) of the display device 108 with the small resolution, a cursor display position becomes the central part of 640×240. Then, the Y value of the read in display data is doubled.

In a single mode, color data in which data reduction is not performed is stored in a display memory, read out color data is displayed on only a LCD 127 by the bus controller 119 through the palette 123 without separating data.
