    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of power cut-off caused by continuous load switching by discriminating the operable state at each load based on the voltage variation of the battery detected at the time of switching the loads. SOLUTION: A timer circuit A 102 periodically sends a battery voltage detection requesting signal 112 to a battery voltage detecting circuit 101 and a storage circuit 111. The circuit 101 detects the voltage of a battery and sends the detected voltage to an arithmetic circuit 109 in the period of the signal 112. The circuit 11 sends the terminating voltage level to the circuit 109 when a light load 104 is continuously executed. The circuit 109 compares the detected voltage of the battery with the terminating voltage level and, when the former is higher, continues the execution of the load 104. When the detected voltage is lower, the circuit 109 stops the execution. When the detected voltage is higher, the circuit A 102 generates the signal so as to repeat the same process after a fixed period of time and, when the detected voltage becomes lower than the terminating voltage level, the execution of the load 104 is stopped. Even for a normal load 105 and a heavy load 106, the residual capacity of the battery is completely consumed by performing similar processing at each terminating voltage level.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent noise against a tablet and to read a position with a high accuracy by setting a position read period to convert an output signal of a tablet into position information out of a display period of a display device and fixing a level of a voltage that is applied to a display panel in a position read period. SOLUTION: A position read period generation circuit 9 supplies a position read period signal 108 of a low level to a signal fixing circuit 8 and a period notification circuit 10. A CPU 1 can recognize the start of a position read area by a position read notification signal 109 that is supplied from the circuit 10 even while the CPU 1 is carrying out another process. When the circuit 8 fixes the levels of a display data transfer signal and a horizontal scan signal in a scan period of the position read area, the horizontal scan signal never produces its level change point nor the change point of a liquid crystal alternating signal. Therefore, the noise can be completely prevented in the scan period of the position read area.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain highly precise reading by level-fixing the driving signal of a display device among display control signals, preventing a noise component from mixing into the output signal of a tablet, and creating position information. SOLUTION: A position reading period signal generating circuit 9 counts a horizontal scanning signal, compares the counted value with a value preliminarily set by a CPU 1, and supplies a position reading period signal 108 to a signal fixing circuit 8 and a period informing circuit 10 as a low level output when the counted value is turned into the set value. Then, the signal fixing circuit 8 fixes the level of a display data transfer signal and a horizontal scanning signal in the scanning period of a position reading area so that the level changing point of the horizontal scanning signal and the signal changing point of a liquid crystal alternating signal can not be generated. Thus, a noise in the scanning period of the position reading area can be completely evaded and the highly precise position reading can be attained.
