摘要： PURPOSE:To make a treated liquid difficult to reach the seal part of a middle mechanical seal and surely wash away the treated liquid by making constitution in which a water filling port is provided on a mechanical seal box and a weir is installed between the middle mechanical seal and a small mechanical seal. CONSTITUTION:A gap part between a weir 5 and a seal box 7 acts as a labyrinth seal, and a treated liquid 15 is made difficult to flow into a middle mechanical seal side, by providing the weir 5, the rotation ring 2 of a large mechanical seal, the fixing ring 9 of the large mechanical seal, and a water filling port 12 in a mechanical seal box 7. Because of the injection of water from the water filling port 12, the water constantly flows into a small mechanical seal side through a gap between the weir 5 and the mechanical seal box 7 from the middle mechanical seal side, eliminating the flow of the treated liquid 15 into the middle mechanical seal side. This can prevent an accident in which the treated liquid fixes a mechanical seal to lose the function as the mechanical seal, and moreover can contribute to improve reliability for permitting the long time continuous running of equipment.
