    • PURPOSE:To facilitate installation work of a protecting plate by forming an engaging part in a supporting frame member to be installed on the inside face of a duct main body and forming an engaged part, which is engaged with the engaging part slidably in the longitudinal direction, in the protecting plate covering the surface of a heat insulating material. CONSTITUTION:In a duct, which is arranged in a plant installation and has a comparatively large cross sectional area, a heat insulating material such, as ceramic fiber and rock wool, for example, is arranged on the inside face of a plate body 3 constructing a duct main body. On the inside face of the plate body 3, supporting frame plates 11, in each of which plural reverse trapezoidal projections (engaging parts) 12 are formed at the predetermined intervals, are installed at the predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction. On the other hand, on a protecting plate 21 side, reverse trapezoidal groove parts (engaged parts) 22, which slidably engage with the projection parts 12 of the supporting frame plate 11, are formed. In supporting the heat insulating material on the inside face of a duct main body, the heat insulating material is arranged between the supporting frame plates 11 fixed in the predetermined positions, and then, the protecting plate 21 is installed via the engagement, between the groove parts 22 and the projecting parts 12.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a contraction owing to a vibration so as to eliminate the generation of a clearance by the expanding pressure of heat reserving material block, and to reduce the fiber carried out by the wind invading from the clearance of a cover body extremely, by reducing by half the fiber along the surface of the heat reserving material block. CONSTITUTION:When a soft type heat reserving material on which a fiber is arranged in one direction is installed to the inner surface of a duct bottom 15, heat reserving material blocks 13 are formed by combining plural heat reserving material pieces cut at a desired size by making the surface into a cut surface to a fiber laminate layer surface. And the heat reserving material blocks 13 are compressed to contact in the direction to reduce the thickness in the thickness direction with binding bands 14, and they are arranged between the stud bolts 16 of the duct bottom plate 15. And after the binding bands 14 are removed, the surface of the heat reserving block group is covered with cover bodies 17, and the cover bodies 17 are fixed through the stud bolts 16.
