摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the corrosion of a Zr liner covering pipe by controlling the temperature of primary cooling water and the concentration of dissolved oxygen during the activation operation period from the end of construction of a boiling-water nuclear plant to the pull-out operation of a control rod by starting deaerating a steam condenser. SOLUTION: A nuclear fuel assembly 15 using a Zr liner covering pipe is loaded into a reactor 1 after the construction of a boiling-water nuclear plant has been completed or the reactor is at halt. Then, a recirculation pump 9 is started for circulating reactor water and at the same time the temperature of the reactor water is maintained at approximately 10 deg.C due to Joule heat that is generated by the rotation of the recirculation pump 9 for measurement by a sampling device 14. Then, deaeration by a vacuum pump 16 that is mounted on a steam condenser 3 is started, and dissolved oxygen in furnace water is eliminated. Then, an oxygen gas is introduced from a gas inflow device 12 to the furnace water, and the amount of inflow of oxygen gas is controlled so that the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the furnace water and supply water reaches 100-150 ppb for measurement by the furnace water and supply water sampling devices 14 and 13.

Surface roughness of the fuel cladding tube 9 is set at 0.25μm or below, for example. Other fuel rods 5 are composed of a normal zirconium based alloy for reactor and the surface roughness is set at 0.25μm or above, for example.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress local corrosion and obtain durability by imparting an oxidation film of thickness of a specific value or more to the whole surface of the fuel channel box of a fuel assembly for a boiling water reactor. SOLUTION: A fuel assembly comprises fuel rods 2, upper and lower tie plates 5, 6, a fuel channel box 1 and the like. The fuel rod 2 and a water rod 7 are assembled by pressing and molding a plate material in the form of U- shape, and a 9×9 arrangement is formed in a channel box manufactured in a square cylinder by welding. The water of high temperature and high pressure of a reactor is circulated from the lower tie plate 6 of the channel box 1 to the upper tie plate 5. An oxidation film of at least 0.7 μm is formed on the whole fuel channel box 1 by high temperature steam of 350 deg.C or higher, high temperature oxygen, high temperature air and anodic oxidation. Thereby galvanic corrosion can be suppressed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to corrosion and wear and at the same time reduce the radioactivity level in a nuclear power plant by making specific the thickness of an oxide film being provided on an outer-periphery surface by anodization in an electrolyte. SOLUTION: A fuel rod arranged in a fuel assembly for boiling water nuclear reactor has a fuel cladding pipe 2 that is made of, for example, zirconium alloy where, for example, an uranium pellet 3 is loaded, and an oxide film 9 is formed on the outer-periphery surface by anode oxidation with ammonium borate or caustic potash solution as electrolyte. When the thickness of the oxide film 9 exceeds 0.6 μm, film quality becomes porous, which is not preferable in terms of the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the cladding pipe 2, so that the thickness is preferably 0.3 μm or more in terms of influence to the radiation level in a nuclear power plant due to, for example, Co in furnace water. The oxide film 9 with a suitable film thickness can be formed by performing anodization treatment with an electrolyte concentration and its conductivity, arrival voltage, and electrolyte temperature within a specific range.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent corrosion resistance in hightemperature water and to improve wear resistance by forming an anode oxide film on the surface of metal hafnium as the step of integrating metal hafnium into a control rod frame. SOLUTION: Each piece end of a cross tie rod 5 has a groove form, a sheath 3 worked into U-shaped section is welded to each piece of the tie rod 5, metal hafnium 4 having an elliptic section is housed in the internal space formed thereby by two each per blade. The elliptic tube form of the hafnium 4 is formed by forming the 12 form of the elliptic form from a hafnium metal plate by bending as members 4-1 and 4-2, and mutually fixing the members 4-1, 4-2 by butt weld. A surface oxide film layer 4' is formed on the surface of the elliptic hafnium 4 by anode oxidation. An electrolytic cell is filled with electrolyte, and the anode oxidation is performed by using platinum as a cathode and a hafnium bar as an anode. According to the above, a reactivity control material excellent in corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be provided without having a significant influence on the manufacturing process.

CONSTITUTION:The quantity of injected iron is controlled by checking up the chemical form of the iron in feed water at an outlet of the final stage of a feed water heater. In equipment for injecting the iron, partition plates 3 are provided for forming a meandering flow passage in a reaction bath 2 wherein iron ions produced in an electrolytic bath 1 are oxidized to be an iron clad, and a time for stabilization of the iron clad in the reaction bath 2 is ensured. Moreover the time for stabilization may be ensured by providing a circulation line branching from an injection piping 9 and returning to the reaction bath 2. In another way, a stabilizing tank for making a carbon dioxide gas be adsorbed on the iron clad for stabilizing the clad is provided on the downstream side of the reaction bath 2.

CONSTITUTION:Steam generated by a nuclear reactor 1 is condensed 3 into water after a turbine 2 is rotated, sent to a condensate filter 5 by a condensate pump 4, and passed through a condensate demineralizer 6 to remove an iron clad and impurity gold ions from it. Then the condensate is fed to the nuclear reactor 1 by a feed water pump 7 through a feed water heater 8, part of it flows in a nuclear reactor water recirculation system, and further part of it is purified by a reactor water purifying device 10 and circulated to the nuclear reactor 1. At this time, an injecting device 12 for the hydrogen gas, complexing agent, or reducing agent is installed in the nuclear reactor water recirculation system and when the nuclear reactor 1 is at a stop, the hydrogen gas, complexing agent, or reducing agent is injected into the primary cooling water. Consequently, radioactive ions generated by the oxidized film dissolution of the nuclear reactor water recirculation system and purification system are removed by the device from the primary cooling water.
