SOLUTION: When a hall call is generated, plural groups of response lamps are lightened. Horizontally moving time required for the user to walk from a position where the user pushes a hall call button to an entrance of an elevator assigned to this call is considered, and if an elevator arrives after this moving time, other groups of elevators are inclusively considered as assigned objects. When other groups are assigned, a guide lamp improved so as to be visible from a distance with its guide is lightened at an entrance of an assigned car. When the elevator arrives, the horizontally moving time is considered, the response lamps of other groups are extinguished early, and a registration of another hall call can be done.
