    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of any excessive optical system and make the design, assemblage, and adjustment of a precise optical working machine easier, by making parallel laser beams having fixed emitting directions and locations obtainable even when the emitting direction from a laser device varies. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams separated by a beam splitter 8 are converged on a two-dimensional position sensor 6 by a lens 7 and an output voltage is produced in accordance with the laser beam position on the sensor 6. The output voltage is compared with a reference voltage at a comparator circuit 5 and a two-axis driving mechanism 4 is driven by outputting a voltage proportional to the difference so as to move a lens 2 in order to make the emitting directions of the beams parallel with each other. The laser beams are further separated by another beam splitter 12 and irradiated upon another two-dimensional position sensor 11 and a voltage is outputted in accordance with the position of the laser beam on the sensor 11. A comparator circuit 10 compares the output voltage with a reference voltage and outputs a voltage proportional to the difference. The voltage drives a two-directional angle driving mechanism and inclines a beam shifter 3 against the direction of the laser beams so as to make the directions and positions of the passed laser beams constant.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the speed control with accuracy by detecting continuously the phase difference between a reference speed command pulse and the up-pulse outputted from a laser length measuring device via a phase comparator and feeding said phase difference back to a drive motor via a motor control circuit. CONSTITUTION:A speed servo circuit consists of a laser length measuring device and a pulse converter 4 and the revolutions of a motor 1 are turned into the linear motions by a mechanism part 2. These linear motions are measured by a laser length measuring device 3 and changed into the up/down signals by the converter 4. These up/down signals are inputted to a selector 5 and the up or down signal is selected according to the positive or negative direction feed of a direction signal 6. The selected up or down signal is inputted to a phase comparator 7 and the phase difference is detected by the comparator 7 between said selected signal and the reference speed command pulse received from a speed command reference pulse 8. Then the output of a phase/voltage converter 9 is fed back to the motor 1 for speed control of the motor 1.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the deformation and failure of a metallic structure and to improve the surface accuracy thereof by the constitution consisting in adhering a recording medium consisting of a plastic disk or glass disk and recording film on one face of the metallic substrate. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum 6 for reflection is deposited by evaporation on one side of the plastic substrate 1 on which pits 5 are preliminarily recorded in the form of ruggedness and therefore the light reflection of the substrate 2 does not arise when the substrate 1 and the aluminum substrate 2 are adhered by a resin 3 curable by UV rays and if laser light 4 for signal reproduction is made incident thereto from the substrate 1. The recording is,therefore, not affected by the surface accuracy of the aluminum substrate 2 even if said accuracy is poor. The surface on which signals 5 are recorded is on the adhesive surface side and therefore, the failure in reproduction by fingerprints, etc., is obviated. Since the substrate 1 is adhered to the metallic substrate 2, the substrate withstands a high speed rotation and is free from failure.

    • In optically coupling a plurality of light sources to an optical system for focusing light beams from the light sources into spots on a record plane, a center axis of a light beam from a first one of the light sources is aligned to an optical axis of the focusing optical system, and the spots other than a first spot formed by the light beam from the first light source are rotated around the first spot on the record plane to position the spots to the respective target tracks, and a tracking error signal for at least one of the first spot and another spot is detected and the positions of the plurality of spots are integrally controlled based on the detected tracking error signal so that the plurality of spots can follow the respective target tracks. The target tracks to which the spots are to be positioned may be either one track or different tracks. The positioning of the spots to the target tracks may be done either manually or automatically. In the automatic method, a tracking error signal is detected for the first spot, and a deflection mechanism for radially swinging beams from the laser light sources is controlled to control the positions of the spots on the record plane and to cause the first spot to follow the target track.
