At optical beam 8 generated from an optical beam source 6 is modulated by an optical beam intensity modulating means 7 and the intensity-modulated optical beam 9 is converged on a photosensitive material 3 on a rotating disk 1 by means of an optical deflecting means 10 of a galvano-mirror, AO deflector, EO deflector, etc., and a light condensing optical system 11 and a microspot 5 is formed. An information groove 4 is recorded by the microspot 5 thus formed. When the recording is made, the output of the generating means 18 is inputted into the driving means 19 of the optical deflecting means 10 and the means 10 is driven, so that the optical beam can be oscillated in the radial direction of the disk.
