    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent concrete track beams on which a straddle type monorail runs from dropping in the event that anchor bolts are damaged by a large earthquake.
SOLUTION: The track beams constitute double tracks. The track beams 20L, 20R are connected to a post 10 at their respective ends via bearings 30L, 30R. The brackets 34L, 34R of the bearings 30L, 30R are surrounded by connectors 41L, 41R. The connectors 41L, 41R are connected to each other by a wire rope 46. In the event that the anchor bolts securing the one track beam 20L to the post 10 are damaged by a large earthquake making the track beam 20L likely to move past the post 10L and drop, the wire rope 46 pulls the track beam toward the other bearing 30R, preventing the track beam from dropping.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent and suppress generation of collisional noise from a joint of the upstream branched girder and the downstream branched girder in a straddling type monorail hinged branch device.
SOLUTION: The branch device is constituted of a plurality of short branched girders 11, 21 connected to each other in series. The upstream branched girder 11 is mounted on the downstream branch girder 21 through a T-shaped pin 31. Both axial ends of the horizontal pin 32 of the T-shaped pin 31 are fixed to the lower face of the branched girder by the bearing 35. Hence, the joint section of the horizontal pin 32 and the perpendicular pin 33 forms a large diameter. When a monorail vehicle travels, the girders 11, 21 are horizontally pushed. Thereby, the large diameter part collides with the bearing 35, a large sound generates. A rubber plate 45 is set between the axial end of the horizontal pin 32 and the lid 40 to prevent the horizontal pin 32 from moving in the axial direction and hence, no collisional noise is generated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate rolling of a monorail vehicle in passing a track beam joint part by a simple method at a low cost in a straddling type monorail track beam turnout.
SOLUTION: Movable stabilizing face plates 11a constituting a stable surface track that relieves a bend angle when track beams constitute a curved course, are disposed at both side faces of a track beam joint part. One end of the movable stabilizing face plate 11a is pin-joined by a turnout point beam 3 and fixed end side pin receivers 21a, 21b, and the other end of the movable stabilizing face plate 11a is slot-pin-joined by the adjacent turnout point beam 3 and movable end side pin receivers 22a, 22b to constitute the turnout joint part. When the monorail vehicle travels the track beam joint part, stabilizing wheels travel on the movable stabilizing face plates 11a with the easy bend angle of the track beam joint part. Rolling of the monorail vehicle can thereby be eliminated. Further, an intermediate parts of the movable stabilizing face plates 11a are fastened by reinforcing rods 24 to constitute the turnout with the reinforced movable stabilizing face plates 11a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce resistance to slip between a wheel of a carriage bearing a branch girder and a rail in a converter of monorail branch girders. SOLUTION: The branch girders 2a to 2d of monorail girders are mounted on the rail 6 via the wheels 14 of the carriages 3, 3b to 3e. A rotating shaft 12 of the wheel 14 of the carriage 3 extends toward a rotation center C, and the rotating shaft 12 and a rotating shaft 13 are arranged like a truncated chevron shape with respect to the rotation center C of the carriage 3. The wheels 14, 15 are conically shaped, and have a smaller diameter at a location close to the rotation center. Thus when the wheel 14 is arcuately rotated, side skid of the wheel is eliminated, and therefore the sliding resistance between the wheel and the rail is reduced, to thereby dispense with constant greasing work.
