SOLUTION: This monitoring device and this controller comprise a digital filter 6 that is connected with an amplifier and has a finite length impulse response (FIR). They also comprise an adjusting means 4 that inputs signals from an average power monitor 10 and an LPRM power average processor 3, sets the gain of an amplifier 5 to one when the reactor core average neutron flux is lower than the local average neutron flux, adjusts the gain of the amplifier 5 so that the reactor core average neutron flux becomes equal to the local average neutron flux when the reactor core average neutron flux is the local average neutron flux or higher, and sets the reactor core average neutron flux in each delay element Z -1 of the digital filter 6 as an initial value.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the display of the correct position of a control rod when an abnormality has occurred in a control rod position display system as to the display of the position of the control rod of a reactor.
      SOLUTION: A display apparatus for the position of the control rod has a control rod drive circuit 8a for manipulating the control rod 2 of the reactor 1, a unit 4 for controlling the hydraulic pressure of the control rod 2, a probe 3 for detecting the position of the control rod 2 and a control rod position detecting circuit 7a and transmits a detection signal of the position of the control rod 2 as an indication signal of the position of the control rod 2 (a position detection probe) to a control rod manipulation/monitoring panel 9a to display the position of the control rod 2. Moreover, a circuit 8b for detecting the position of the control rod 2 through the drive of it which calculates the position of it on the basis of a manipulated variable 5 for driving it and a circuit 10 for switching a control rod position signal are provided to display the position of the control rod 2 by switching to a control rod position (calculation) display signal 13 calculated by the circuit 8b for detecting the position of the control rod 2 through the drive of it by way of a signal switching means 10 in the event of any failure in displaying the position in the control rod position detecting circuit 7a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor power measuring apparatus which suppresses an increase in wiring number and simultaneously simplifies the constitution.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a case 3 placed in the core 13 of the reactor as extension along the axis of the reactor, an ion chamber 1 for detecting γ rays arranged by dispersing in the position different from the extension direction of the case 3 in the case 3, and a calculation means 9 for calculating the power of the reactor from the variation of electric quantity caused by the ionization of the γ rays in the ion chamber 1 for γ-ray detection. The calculation means 9 is so constituted as to transmit signal commanding protection operation of the reactor according to the information of the calculated reactor power. In this manner, TIP detector and a plurality of temperature detectors substituting the TIP detectors become unnecessary, and the increase of the number of wiring is suppressed and simultaneously constitution of reactor power measuring arrangement can be simplified.
