摘要： PURPOSE:To output an interrupt request from a node to a network controller by providing an interruption request line from each node to the network controller in addition to a serial data transmission line. CONSTITUTION:In requesting interruption by a node 2 to a network controller 1, the node 2 outputs an interruption request 5 to the interruption request line 4. In receiving the interruption from the interruption request line 4, the network controller 1 instructs an interruption request output OFF to all nodes connected to the network. In applying polling instructing an interruption request output ON sequentially to each node, the network controller 1 outputs the interruption request to the interruption request line when the interruption output ON is instructed to the node applying the interruption request and the network controller can recognize the node giving the interruption request. Moreover, the network controller applies polling to all nodes, the simultaneous interruption request from plural nodes is coped with, as well.

摘要： PURPOSE:To multiplex the communication by providing a switching unit provided with a control bus switching circuit so that plural pieces of extension boards having the same function can be integrated into one set of computer. CONSTITUTION:By a command of a fault detecting and switching function 11 in the inside of computers 5a-5n, a LAN board select signal 201 is outputted from bus switching logic 200 integrated into a control bus switching circuit 14 in the inside of switching units 4a-4n, and a control bus 102 from a computer side 5 is distributed to one of control signals 303, 304 for each LAN board A1, B1. Accordingly, LAN boards A1-Bn of the same function having the same address can be integrated by plural pieces onto an address bus 100 and a data bus 101 of the computers 5a-5n having a general interface without causing a breakdown of data between each board. In such a way, the computer system can be multiplexed without multiplexing the computer.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically confirm the twisted state of a twisted pair by inputting a signal to the twisted pair from a differential driver and monitoring the electric current induced in another twisted pair by means of a differential receiver. CONSTITUTION:An oscillator 1 outputs a signal to a twisted pair in a cable 7 to be tested through one differential driver 3 selected by a driver/receiver switching circuit 2 and another driver 3 is kept in a high-impedance state. When the twisted pair to which the signal is outputted is properly wired, the signal is only transmitted to the differential receiver 4 paired with the driver 3 outputting the signal, but, when the wiring is not proper, two or more receivers operate. Therefore, when a signal decision circuit 5 takes the AND of the OR of outputs of all receivers which are not connected with the driver and the output of the receiver paired with the driver, the propriety of the wiring or the twisted pair connected with the driver can be decided.
