    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and to realize efficient plant operation.
      SOLUTION: A multi-system flow controller is provided with: a PID computing element 50 which calculates an adjustment signal MV from process detection flow addition values from fluid flow detectors 1a to 1n from individual fluid inflow systems and a total target flow set value from a target flow setter 70; and a control system discrimination means 40 which switches control systems by upper and lower limits of the adjustment signal MV and turns on/off control system connection circuits 4a to 4n to limit PID control systems to one system, so that a plurality of fluid inflow systems can be controlled by the PID computing element 50. Since fluid inflow systems to be controlled are limited to one system by the control system discrimination means, a total flow is controlled by a single PID computing element and a PID computing element for each system needs not be installed, and thus the cost of a controller is reduced and efficient plant operation is realized.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent images from being deteriorated in quality by executing the interpolation processing of multivalue data such as color images. CONSTITUTION:Plural reference tables 2 for storing information specifying which peripheral picture element is selected in each fine area obtained by subdividing a distance between picture elements are prepared in accordance with the combination of peripheral picture element information. Every calculation of a coordinate point of each picture element in a transferred area, a corresponding transferred fine area is calculated, the information of respective picture element points around the fine area is converted into binary information and the reference table 22 corresponding to the combination of the peripheral points is selected. Information for specifying which peripheral picture element is to be selected correspondingly to the fine area is read out and the arithmetic processing of the transferred picture element data is executed by using the peripheral picture element data selected by the information. Consequently, interpolation processing at the time of executing the expanding/contracting processing of characters or graphics expressed by color data can be rapidly executed.
