摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of memory, etc., the torque ripple of a motor in an inverter control, and a pulling out of synchronism in a converter control by outputting output pulse data through avoiding a normal route in case of emergency. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is composed of a current type converter part 3 for converting AC of a three-phase AC power supply 1 into DC, a current- type inverter part 5 for converting DC into AC and driving an induction motor 7 being a load, and one-chip microcomputers 10, 11 for controlling a power converter. The one-chip microcomputers 11 is constituted in almost the same manner as the one-chip microcomputer 10. A frequency command omega1* and a phase command theta* are read from an input port 101 and a pulse width is determined by reference to a data table and outputted to an output port 106 in normal cases. In case of emergency, no comparison with data is made so that the commands are outputted directly to the output port 106.

CONSTITUTION:A first power converter having a forward converter 2 and a power inverter 3 is connected to a power source 1, the first converter is connected at its output to the armature 4 of a drive motor to supply power thereto. Power is supplied from a power source 10 to a field winding 5 of the motor via a second power converter 9. When a catch is tested, a governor rope 18 is grasped in advance by a catch weight 19 of a governor 17, and a cage 14 is stopped by the catch 20 through a rail 16. Power is supplied to the motor in this state to apply a driving force for moving down the cage 14 thereto, and the braking force of the catch 20 is sufficiently compensated by generating a slip between a winding drum 12 and a main rope 13.

CONSTITUTION:Power from a power source 15 is rectified by a power converter 1, and supplied to a DC motor DCM. A rectifier 2 is connected to the AC terminal of the converter 1, and a second energy absorbing element 4 and an overvoltage detector 5 are connected to the output of the rectifier 2. Further, the output terminal of the rectifier 2 is connected to the output terminal of the converter 1 through a diode. A predetermined voltage is charged in the element 4 by a charger 11. The element 3 absorbs a current at the time of a trouble to raise its voltage, and if it exceeds a specified value, the current is absorbed to the element 4. Thus, when the voltage rises, the converter 1 is interrupted by the operation of the detector 5.

According to this commutation, energy, being stored in an inductance 6 by the main current IL, is charged into the SC 4. In this case, a voltage VD between the terminals (a), (b) of the GTR 1 becomes same as the charging voltage and, therefore, the value of the capacity of the SC 4 is regulated so that the charging voltage of the SC 4 becomes lower than the allowable voltage of the GTR 1 and the SC 4 protects the GTR 1 from a high voltage, generated upon the intercepting operation of the GTR 1.
