    • PURPOSE:To obtain the display control unit which is inexpensive and small in size by holding the processing of received information until synchronization with VSYNC. CONSTITUTION:When drawing information transferred from FIFO(First-In, First-Out) 102 is VSYNC synchronization information, a decoder 104 sends a VSYNC synchronization information reception signal 108 to an FIFO readout control part 110. Then when drawing information which is not the VSYNC synchronization information is sent to the FIFO 102, the FIFO readout control part 110 does not transfer information to the decoder 104 until a VSYNC signal 113 is received even if a drawing information processing part 106 sends an FIFO readout request signal 109. Then when the FIFO readout control part 110 receives the VSYNC signal 113 from a VSYNC generation part 112, the transfer of information from the FIFO 102 to the decoder 104 is restarted. Further, the decoder 104 decides that the information is not the VSYNC synchronization information and the drawing information processing part 106 outputs the information.
