摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility for deterioration of electrodes and to enable stable and sure detection operation by maintaining the voltage to be impressed between the terminals of a humidity sensor always at the prescribed value or below and setting the prescribsd value for the ionizing voltage of the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The AC output voltage V of an AC voltage source 2 is straightly impressed to a sensor 1 and the current specified by the impedance of the sensor 1 and the voltage V is consequently flushed into an operational amplifier 31 and the logarithmically converted DC voltage thereof appears at an output terminal 5. If the impedance of the sensor 1 changes in accordance with the ambient humidity, logarithmic conversion is accomplished by the amplifier 31 and therefore the change in the humidity can by detected as the DC voltage changing in proportion to said change. On the other hand, the max. value of the AC voltage impressed between the terminals 15 and 16 of the sensor 1 in this stage is divided by the DC voltages VCC, VEE supplied to an operational amplifier 21 and the voltage dividing ratios of resistors 26, 27. The deterioration of the electrodes of the sensor 1 is thoroughly prevented by determining the voltage V at the prescribed value.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce resin coated sand for shell molds having high strength by coating zircon reconditioned sand with a novolak type phenolic resin synthesized by using an inorg. acid as catalyst. 摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a resin binder for a shell mold which collapses with the mechanical impact alone while a heat treatment is not always required after casting by mixing phosphate and halogenated phosphate respectively at specific % into a phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION:This resin binder improves the collapsing property of a casting mold after casting when used for production of catings having a relatively low casting temp. such as aluminum casting and alloy casting. A novolak type phenolic resin, resol type phenolic resin, and the mixture and molten mixtures thereof are usable as the phenolic resin. The resin binder prepd. by mixing 2-50 pts. wt. phosphate and 0.1-5 pts. wt. halogenated phosphate in 100 pts. wt. phenolic resin is used. The collapsing property after the casting is thereby improved and the need for the heat treatment after the casting is eliminated by using such binder.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled binder compsn. consisting of the specific compsn. having an excellent shelf life at a low temp. by successively bringing urea, formaldehyde and furfuryl alcohol into reaction in the presence of a basic catalyst and acidic catalyst under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The urea, formaldehyde and about 1/3-2/3 the total amt. of the furfuryl alcohol to be used are mixed and the mixture is brought into reaction for about 0.3-2hr at about 85-95 deg.C in the presence of the basic catalyst at about 0.001-0.5wt% of the total weight of such mixture. The mixture is then brought into reaction at about 85-95 deg.C in the presence of the acidic catalyst at about 0.01-0.1wt% of the total weight of the mixture. The mixture is concd. by dehydration at the point of the time when about 1-3hr elapse to decrease the moisture in the reaction liquid to about 10wt%. The remaining furfuryl alcohol is added to the liquid and the liquid is brought into reaction for about 0.5-2hr at about 85-95 deg.C. The binder compsn. for a self-curing mold consisting of the compd. which is expressed by formula I (n is>=2 integer) and contains 30-70wt% furfuryl alcohol monomer and the balance the compd. expressed by formula II is thus obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a carbonaceous sliding material with superior load resistance, wear resistance and sliding characteristics by finely pulverizing a carbon precursor substance to which a solid lubricant for enhancing sliding characteristics has been added, followed by molding and carbonization. CONSTITUTION:A carbon precursor substance obtd. by thermal polycondensation of pitches is finely pulverized to an average garin size of 10mu or less, molded, and carbonized to manufacture a carbonaceous sliding material with low voids and high strength. In this method a solid lubricant for enhancing sliding characteristics is added when the precursor substance is manufactured, or the lubricant and a binder is kneaded with heating, cooled, and finely pulverized, and the resulting binder- covered solid lubricant is mixed into the precursor substance fine powder. The lubricant used may be graphite, molybdenum disulfide, potassium fluoride or talc, and the grain size is pref. made smaller than that of the precursor substance.
