A board containing case 16 for protecting the connector 17, the wires 18, the board 14 and the like provided at an insulator side in the plate 1a is provided in the hole. The connector 17 for connecting the board side in the case 16 is extended from above the case 16, and electrically connected from a refrigerator body through an upper hinge of a refrigerator door. The refrigerator is controlled by a pushbutton provided at the cover.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check the penetration of hard urethane foam, by applying a thermoplastic adhesive to the flange of the opening of each storage box just before assembly work, bonding and fixing the storage box to an inner box, and pressure-bonding it in the specified position of the inner box. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic adhesive 5 is applied to the flange of roughly the same dimension as the thickness of each storage box, provided in the opening of each storage box (storage box 2 for a door switch, a storage box 3 for an in-refrigerator light, a storage box 4 for an in-refrigerator cooling fan motor, etc.), right before assembly work, and it is pressure-bonded in the specified position of a resinous inner box 1. After pressure-bonding, the thermoplastic adhesive 5 cools and hardens, and the storage box is bonded and fixed to the resinous inner box 1. The dimension of the flange in the opening is enough with the width (the width 2a of the flange in the opening) where the thermoplastic adhesive 5 can be applied, and the width dimension can be made smaller than the cutting minimum dimension of the hard urethane foam, for example, 1/2 or under. That is, the flange can be made the one of roughly the same width dimension as the thickness of the board of the storage box.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a case of a claim on insufficient cooling of temperature in a refrigerator or on excessive cooling very rarely occurring due to an installation condition of the refrigerator and an ambient temperature during a summer, exchange (variation of a resistance constant) of the resistor of a refrigerator temperature detecting means and variation of a set temperature inputted to a microcomputer is effected but a lot of times for coping with the claim are needed but rapid coping is not practicable. SOLUTION: A refrigerator temperature shift function is provided by utilizing a resistor or a jumper wire and provided in a control substrate for the refrigerator consisting of a refrigerator temperature setting means and a refrigerator temperature detecting means. Thus, since a refrigerator temperature shift function is used by utilizing a resistor or a jumper wire, a need to especially prepare a mounting place is eliminated in a substrate consisting of a control substrate and a control part, and mounting in the control substrate is not only practicable but rapid correspondence to a refrigerator temperature claim is practicable.

When the refrigerator approaches to the set temperature, the motor is rotated, for example, to a lowest speed of 1,600 rpm, but when a current flow rate of an inverter 3 to a switching element becomes, for example, 55% or below or a rotational speed command of the motor 4 becomes, for example, 1,600 rpm of a lowest speed and its real speed is decelerated to 1,600 rpm, a control at a converter control circuit side is turned OFF to a low voltage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a lighter weight and lower manufacturing costs of a refrigerator with a small deformation by arranging reinforcing members to be mounted on the side of a heat insulating material on the side where a hinge is disposed and to be installed being inclined to the side of a bottom plate from the front side to the rear side of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: Reinforced members 6 are so arranged to be mounted on the side of an inner case of a side plate 1b on the side where a hinge is disposed and to be installed being inclined to the side of a bottom plate 4 from the side of a door of a refrigerator to a back plate 5 thereof. To be more specific, the reinforcing members 6 are arranged in a diagonally bracing manner connecting a point near an upper front angle of a box body where the front side 2a of a top plate crosses the front side 1c of a side plate and a point near a location where the upper side 4a of the bottom plate at an upper rear part 14 of a machine chamber crosses the lower end of the back plate 5 and bear the deformation of a side plate 1a by bending rigidity of a reinforcing plate 6a. This allows reduction in the thickness of the reinforcing plates while effectively securing the strength of the box body thereby achieving a lighter weight and lower manufacturing costs with a limited deformation.

CONSTITUTION:A heater for accommodating a temperature to be fixed at a thermo-sensitive part 5 of a cold air damper thermostat for use in controlling a temperature within a refrigerator is constructed such that heaters 1a and 1b having different heating amounts are stored within a single soft insulating cylinder 2, lead lines 4a to 4c of the heaters 1a and 1b are pulled out of both ends of the insulating cylinder 2 and an outlet port is welded and adhered. Electrical energization of the heaters 1a to 1c is changed over by thermo-sensitive switches 6a and 6b. That is, when a surrounding air temperature is decreased, for example, to cause it to hardly reach a lower level temperature of the cold air damper, an opening time of the cold air damper is delayed and a temperature of food within the refrigerator is apt to increase, so that the heater 1a is electrically energized to cause heat to be generated. With such an arrangement as above, the thermo-sensitive part 5 is heated to reach an opening temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To perform an efficient defrosting and rapid cooling operation under an automatic mode by a method wherein a thermo-sensitive member operated to release a door automatically during a rapid cooling operation is provided in cooperation with the door closing a front opening of a chamber where a rapid cooling and defrosting can be carried out. CONSTITUTION:Freezed foods are stored in a chamber 9 so as to defrost the frozen foods. Air sucked by an electric fan 13, blown toward the frozen foods stored in a drawer container 14 and heat exchanged with the frozen foods reaches again to a heater 12 through a suction port 16. The air is heated there and sucked into the electric fan. This series operation is repeated. During a rapid cooling, basically an operation of the electric fan 13 and a forced opening operation of a cooling amount adjusting damper within a duct are added. Accordingly, the cold air sucked by the fan 13 through the port 17 of the duct 10 as the electric fan 13 is operated and blown out is flowed as indicated by an arrow A3. At this time, since the thermo-sensitive member detects a temperature of +10 deg.C or less, a door 18 is slightly opened. With such an arrangement, the foods placed on the container 14 is cooled to a predetermined temperature within a short period of time.
