摘要： PURPOSE:To remove the burrs of molded resin automatically and quickly by a method wherein after resin is hardened and completing the lifting stroke of a plunger, the plunger thereof is lowered quickly to run through the sleeve completely, and, further, lifting the plunger thereof quickly. CONSTITUTION:In transfer molding, an electronic circuit element such as IC, after clamping the bottom part 1 and the top part 3, a plunger 5 is lowered to allow the resin tablet 2 to pass through the sleeve 4 to fill into the cavity 10 for hardening. After the resin is hardened, lifting the plunger 5, and opening the die, the plunger thereof 5 is lowered quickly in order to allow said plunger 5 to run repeatedly through the sleeve 4 completely for removing the burrs completely sticked to said plunger 5 and the sleeve 4, said plunger 5 is lifted quickly. The plunger 5 and the bottom part 1 are controlled by the cylinders 6, 7 connected with a hydraulic circuit 8 controlled by an electronic circuit 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:In the formation of tablets parts where a granular resin is in contact with air are enclosed and the closed system if filled with a dried gas other than air that dissolves in the resin to prevent bad appearance of tablets and void formation in tablets. CONSTITUTION:A tablet press composed of hopper 2, top force 4 and fottom force 4 is enclosed in insulated box 7 and the inside is made air-tight. Then a dried gas other than air that dissolves in resin 1 is introduced into the box 7 to fill up. Pipes 8 are embedded inside hopper 2, top and bottom forces 4, 4' and a cooling gas is circulated to keep always resin 1 at -65 to 5 deg.C. Under these conditions resin 1 is made into tablets. EFFECT:Titled tablet press gives tablets free from bulge, snake eye, pinhole and void inside the tablet.

CONSTITUTION:A mold 11 is kept warm by delivering hot water to the mold 11 from a hot water tank 2. Then, the two-part liquid type reactive resin material is injected (RIM) into the mold 11, made to react and harden, thereafter delivery of hot water is stopped, cold water is delivered to the mold 11 from the cold water tank 5 and the mold 11 is cooled rapidly. Because the mold kept warm at a certain temperature is cooled rapidly in a short time, the thickness of a skin layer and the foaming density can be controlled artificially and also the molding time from foaming to cooling, hardening can be shortened.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect the hardness of a tablet accurately by a method wherein a weight is suspended from a lever of a press roller to press the tablet and the heating condition of the tablet is detected by the movement of the lever. CONSTITUTION:The tablet 1 is placed on a lower roller electrode 2 and, moreover, the tablet press roller 3 is placed on the tablet 1 and the tablet 1 is pressed under a predetermined pressure by the force of the weight 13. Then, if the high frequency preheating is initiated, the lower roller electrode 2 starts the rotation toward a direction shown by an arrow and the tablet 1 and the tablet press roller 3 are rotated to a direction shown by an arrow. If the preheating is advanced and the tablet 1 is softened, the tablet press roller 3 is pressed into the tablet 1 and a contact 9 is closed to complete the preheating. As described above, the hardness of the tablet is detected accurately and the preheating condition of the tablet can be made constant.

摘要： PURPOSE:To promptly predict the shell life of a thermoset resin to be tested by measuring the heat liberation starting temperature of the resin with the use of a thermal anzlyzer so that the resultant value is applied to a prepared master curve in which the shell life is plotted against the heat liberation starting temperature. CONSTITUTION:The correlation is used between the heat liberation starting temperature of a thermoset resin of similar group (or the setting reaction starting temperature) and the shell life thereof. More specifically, a number of samples of thermoset resins of known shell lifes are measured by means of a thermal analyzer such as a differential calorimeter to obtain their respective heat liberation sarting temperatures. The relationships between the shell lives and those particulars are plotted, as shown, to obtain a master curve. Then, the heat liberation starting temperature of the resin to be tested is obtained so that its shell life can be predicted by the use of the aforementioned master curve.
