    • PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of holding a pickup tube by inserting a taperingly formed cylindrical body into a taperingly formed bobbin and permitting both tapered surfaces to contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A pickup tube 4 is inserted into the bobbin 11 of a yoke assembly 10 from the back and thereafter a cylindrical body 13 is inserted between the bobbin 11 and the pickup tube 4 from the back similarly. The position of the pickup tube 4 in the axial direction is determined by bringing its front outer periphery end in contact with the front face 11b of the bobbin 11. The cylindrical body 13 is stopped by bringing its outer peripheral surface 13a in contact with the inner peripheral portion 11a of the bobbin 11, with both tapered surfaces. Next, when the cylindrical body 13 is pushed from the back by screwing the clamping ring 14, the cylindrical body 13 is pushed from the outer periphery toward the center by the contact of both tapered surfaces and the pickup tube 4 is strongly fixed. At this time, the coaxial accuracy between the bobbin 11 and the pickup tube 4 is strikingly improved since the pickup tube 4 is held at substantially all outer peripheral surface.

    • PURPOSE:To fully hold the airtightness of an image pickup tube and reduce the resistivity of the signal removal electrode for a transparent electrode by applying a small resistivity conductive material to the electrode. CONSTITUTION:For example, a gold thin film 14 on which a small electric resistance gold is deposited is formed at a transparent electrode 2 consisting of a tin oxide film and the signal removal electrode 2a within a signal removal section 2a which are formed on a faceplate 1 and the electric resistance of this signal removal electrode 2a is almost zero ohm. In this case, since the region of the transparent electrode 2 consisting of tin oxide forms an optical exposure section, the gold thin film 14 cannot be formed, and the gold film 14 is applied and formed only on the tin oxide film of the signal removal electrode 2a. As a result, the airtightness of an image pickup tube is fully held. Besides, the electric resistance of the signal removal section can be reduced and the signal current leak can be prevented against a high picture signal frequency.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the misregistration by providing levers for adjusting the position of a coil on the horizontal/vertical deflection coil and the alignment coil of an image pick-up coil. CONSTITUTION:Horizontal and vertical deflection coils 4, 5 are wound around a tubular coil bobbin 3 while said bobbin 3 is penetrated through said coils 4, 5 then nonmagnetic position adjusting levers 12, 13 are fixed. Said levers 12, 13 are constructed such that the fixing position of the deflection yoke is movable in axial and rotary direction. While a lever 14 where the fixing position is movable only in axial direction is fixed on an alignment coil 7. Then one ends of the levers 12, 13 and 14 are projected to the outside to enable the moving operation from the outside. Consequently the misregistration caused by the assembling accuracy of the yoke and the manufacturing accuracy of the image pick-up tube can be eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the resolution without increasing the distortion of diagram the circumference, by providing a means which flows a current controlled in response to the scanning position for a focusing coil of a pickup tube and attaining a good focusing state at all times independently of the scanned position of electron beams. CONSTITUTION:The pickup device using electromagnetic focusing and electromagnetic deflection type pickup tube, is provided with a parabola waveform generator and a saw tooth waveform generator, and the parabola waveform is integrated at an integrator and mixed with the saw tooth wave at a mixer and inputted to a comparator. The output of the comparator is applied to the forcusing coil to flow a parabola and saw tooth waveform current on a DC current flowing to the coil and the focus of a magnetic lens (strength) is changed periodically in synchronizing with the deflection. While keeping the collimation lens of the focusing electrode correctly, the beam landing is done correctly, allowing to improve the resolution of the circumference.
