    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the sure transportation of a refrigerator in a posture of tilting the same toward the side surface side thereof by providing handles for transportation on the surfaces except the front surface and the back surface of the same. SOLUTION: Handles 19 are provided on at least one surface except the front surface and back surface of the box body of a refrigerator or on the left and right side plates 1 and the top plate 2. The handles 19 on the side surfaces are provided at a position of 250-300mm from the upper end of the side plate 1 in the direction of the depth of the refrigerator on one straight line. When the refrigerator is carried through a wide transportation passage, the refrigerator is tilted into the direction of the back surface thereof to carry by holding back surface handles 4, provided on the upper part of the back surface of the same, and bottom surface handles, provided at the lower front side of the side plates, regardless of the size of the refrigerator. When the refrigerator is carried through the stairway or a passage (including a door part) of a mansion, the handles 19 are used and the refrigerator is carried by tilting the same into the side surface direction of the same whereby the refrigerator can be carried through the stairway or passage of the mansion.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of peripheral plastic parts caused by the lamp heat by providing a cold air outlet on each side of an in-chamber lamp to make illumination over a plurality of stages of in-chamber shelves provided in a refrigerator along a cold air passage in the height direction of the refrigerator to perform flawless in-chamber illumination even when the internal capacity is large. SOLUTION: In a duct 13 for forming a cold air distribution passage, two gutter- shaped members are fixed to an inner surface of a partially cylindrical duct cover 16 separately in the right-to-left direction. Right and left edge parts of the duct cover 16 are inserted into two ribs provided in the longitudinal direction with the prescribed intervals to an end in the center of a main refrigerator chamber to form two cold air distribution passages in the longitudinal direction covering approximately whole height. An in-chamber lamp 17 is installed in a longitudinal space between two gutter- shaped members fixed to the inner surface of the duct cover 16, and covered by a lamp cover 18. Cold air outlets 22a, 22b, 23a, 23b, 24a, 24b are provided at the prescribed positions of the duct cover 16. Flawless illumination can be made to every corner of the wide refrigerator chamber, and deterioration of peripheral plastic parts caused by the heat generated when the in-chamber lamp 17 is lit can be prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensate sticking to the surface of an inner box or water spilt on a rack plate from being applied to the operating board or the wiring of an operating part and avoid the insulation failure and trouble of the operating base by arranging the operating part for adjusting the temperature of a refrigerating chamber and a freezing chamber or controlling ice making on the front surface below a water feed tank. SOLUTION: In a refrigerator having a refrigerating chamber 1, a vegetable chamber and a freezing chamber successively arranged from its upper part, an operating part 2 provided in the lower part of the refrigerating chamber 1 is located in a water feed tank chamber 5 enclosed with a rack plate 3 for partitioning the lower part of the refrigerating chamber 1 and a partition plate 4 provided near to the left side from a center and in a front surface part below a water feed tank 6. The operating part 2 for adjusting the temperature of the refrigerating chamber 1 and the freezing chamber and controlling an ice making is provided in the front surface below the water feed tank 6, so that condensate sticking to the surface of an inner box 7 or water spilt on the rack plate 3 is not applied to the operating board or the wiring of the operating part 2 and the insulation failure or trouble of the operating board can be avoided.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic decorative frame 9 is mounted on a front end portion of a flat plate upper rack net 7 having at an outer periphery thereof a rising flange having a height as high as a thickness of the plate and a second rising flange 10 is mounted on a rear end portion thereof. The flange 10 is provided with an engagement claw 11 engagedable with an engagement hole 12 provided in a cool air blowing plat 4. When a rack net 7 is placed on a rack receiving rib 6 in an interior box, the engagement claw 11 ia engaged with the engagement holes 12 and the second rising flange 10 is disposed on a protruded rib 13 provided at a cool air blowing plate 4 side. Thus, the interior of the refrigerator is enlarged and a plenty of goods are placed on the rack net. A rack net holding structure can be obtained wherein the rack net is not moved by an impact of a certain magnitude.

Namely, the reinforcing iron sheet 17 for a portion ranging from the partition wall 7 to a rail 16b is formed of a single iron sheet. Further, the partition walls 7 and 8 and the rails 15a and 15b are attached in such a format to fit in a dent formed in an inner box 16, and the reinforcing iron sheet 17 is formed in such a shape to wrap the dent therewith from the foamed heat insulation material 19 side. Further, the reinforcing iron sheet 17 is integrally adhered and fixed to inner and outer boxes 16 and 20 by means of a foamed heat insulation material 19.

And a gripping part 6a of the handle is disposed in the arc formed by the plate 9 and a recess 9a comprising a planar portion 9b and sloped portion 9c is provided at a location where the handle is fixed, wherein the length of the portion 9b is nearly equal to the length of the portion 6a and the length of the portion 9c is nearly equal to the length of a second joint of finger when a finger is attached to the portion 6a.

Water in the water supplying bottle 4 is supplied to the ice making pan 2 by a water supplying pump through a water supplying pipe and when the door is closed, icing is formed by cold air got from a cold air suction port. When ice is formed at the ice making pan 2, the ice making pan 2 is twisted by a driving device 3, thereby the ice is peeled from the ice making pan 2, drops into the ice storing box 5 and the ice is stored in it. Accordingly, the shelf area of the freezing chamber or the refrigerator chamber is expanded, a mere removal of components elements at the door side enables the repairing service to be easily carried out and then its operation time can be substantially shortened.
