    • PURPOSE:To easily detect conducting wires with a camera by detecting the ends of the conducting wires protruded from pin tips with an image processing scanning beam, applying masking at positions backward to the pin side by a preset quantity, and performing binary judgment. CONSTITUTION:A camera 9a is installed on an axis beta line perpendicular to a straight line alpha connecting base pins a, a' to detect conducting wires protruded from the pins a, a'. Conducting wires protruded from bases b, b' are detected by a camera 9b. A scanning beam is run on an image processed by image processors 10a, 10b to find a point where there is no black point, and a mask is formed from a point backward from the line by several wires. The mask can be formed at the tip of the base pins 4, the black portion in the mask is measured, and this area value is judged in binary values. The conducting wires protruded from the tip of the pins 4 can easily be detected by the cameras 9a, 9b two by two.

    • PURPOSE:To cope with various kinds of winding drum by providing a backing roller driving device being fixed to a position opposite to the drum while synchronizing a roller action with rotation and rising of the winding drum. CONSTITUTION:After holding the upper part of a glass bulb 2, which electrodes are sealed at both ends of a glass tube, by means of a chuck 3 and raising a temperature up to a prescribed softening temperature and after holding the lower end of the glass bulb 2 by means of a drum chuck 4, a drum 5 rotates in the arrow direction round a drum axis 11 as a center while rising together with an arm 8. At this time, a backing roller 10, together with a lever 8, a supporting point 9 and a cylinder supporting point 14, performs circular arc movement in the arrow direction by the force of an air cylinder 13 in the position opposing to the drum 5 and the glass bulb 2. Next, the roller 10 making its circular arc movement rises while pushing the outside of the glass bulb 2. By rising at the same speed with rising speed of the drum, the glass bulb 2 is pushed into a groove provided outside the drum 5 for being molded to obtain a prescribed form. Thereby, a difference in an external form of every kind of circular fluorescent lamps exerts no influence.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to position a ring-like article with a high degree of accuracy by only one step, by rotating a positioning roller arranged in the inside of the ring-like article while it is pushed outward from the center of the article in order to insert the positioning roller into a slot in the article. CONSTITUTION:A roller 1' for positioning the outer diameter of a ring-like article 40 pushes out a cam follower 12' secured to levers 36, 37 in association with the rotation of a plate cam 18. After loading, the outer diameter positioning roller 1' is urged outward and held by a tension spring 5'. When a positioning roller 1 comes to the position of a slot 41 in the ring-like article 40, the roller 1 is inserted and held in the slot 41 by the force of a tension spring 5. With this condition being held, a rotary table 10 makes one turn, and therefore, the ring-like article 40 is rotated together with the slot 41 and the roller 1, thereby it is possible to the ring-like article is accurately positioned at a predetermined position.
