摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that there has been no way but unifying the types of plugs or manually opening other types of automated plugs despite the possibility of infection when automating plug opening mechanisms as the plug opening mechanisms adapt to a fixed type of plugs for blood collecting tubes in a specimen pretreating system. SOLUTION: By simultaneously incorporating the plug opening mechanisms each for a rubber plug type and seal plug type in one specimen pretreating system, it is possible to solve the problems. As it is possible to open different types of plugs of blood collecting tubes in the one specimen pretreating system by the solving means, it is possible for workmen to avoid the possibility of infection as well as work with high efficiency.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient, simple and easy system which is capable of plugging both a master subject and a slave specimen by specifying the arrangement order of various specimen processing units to construct a specimen processing system. SOLUTION: Various specimen processing units are arranged in the order of an automatic centrifugal separator 11, an automatic plug opening machine 12, an on-line dispenser 4, an off-like dispenser 5, an automatic plugging machine 6, an automatic labeling machine 7, an automatic specimen sorter 8. According to this, a system capable of plugging both a master specimen and a slave specimen, and a system capable of classifying both the master specimen and the slave specimen, or a system reduced in the danger of scattering of a specimen can be constructed. The wasteful addition of a unit is eliminated, so that the flow of rack carrying is simplified, or the system construction is facilitated, and the system structure can consequently be downsized, as compared with the conventional cases. Furthermore, since the stopping of the rack in the wasteful unit is eliminated, the processing speed is improved.

SOLUTION: Multiple rack transport units 4, 5, 6 placed opposing to a transport direction changing mechanism 7 individually have main transport lines 4a, 5a, 6a and reverse transport lines 4b, 5b, 6b. A distance between first and second rack passages 7a, 7b formed parallel to each other on a turn table 77 on the transport direction changing mechanism is equal to a distance between the main transport line and the reverse transport line. The first and the second rack passages 7a, 7b are placed in an equal distance from a rotation center of the turn table 77. The turn table 77 can receive a specimen rack in one rack passage while a rack is loaded in the other rack passage.
