    • PURPOSE:To set the reproduction system conformed to a tape by providing the reproduction system changeover controller to a conventional system configuration. CONSTITUTION:When a reproduction command is sent from a reproduction system changeover controller 1 to a reproduction device 3, the reproduction device 3 sets a VTR 9 to the reproduction state. The reproduction device 3 outputs a video signal to the NTSC changeover switch SW 4 and outputs a control signal recorded on the tape to the reproduction system changeover controller 1. The reproduction system changeover controller 1 discriminates whether or not the signal of the NTSC system is reproduced based on the frequency of the signal and outputs a video processing switching signal to the NTSC changeover switch SW4. When the NTSC SW is turned on, the video signal is fed to a video output form changeover device 7 and when the NTSC changeover switch is turned off, and the signal is sent to a PAL/SECAM/ MESCAM video processing unit 6 via a PAL/SECAM/MESECAM recording discrimination device 5 and in the case of the reproduction of the NTSC signal, a reproduction system control signal is outputted to the video output form changeover device 7 to control the reproduction system.

    • PURPOSE:To check starting/ending time of a recording part of a tape by a simple operation by automatically feeding to reproduce the tape at a high speed, detecting presence or absence of a video signal, and calculating/recording the starting/ending time of a recorded part of the tape based on a tape remaining time at the time of variation. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 2 control the entirety, and sends, receives a command, information to or from a video/signal processing unit 3, a tape remainder calculating/system control unit 4, a character signal generation unit 5, etc. Presence/absence of a video signal on a tape is always detected at the times of fast forwarding/reproducing, a tape remaining time of each time is always calculated simultaneously, and when a varying point in the video signal is detected, the position of the varying point is calculated as time data from the starting end reference position of the tape at the time of recording (reproducing) speed by referring to the remaining time data of the time point, sequentially stored in a predetermined memory area, and displayed on a monitor 6. Thus, a user can simply, easily check recording/ unrecording of the tape at a high speed before the recording is started.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a large number of functions while maintaining convenience by disabling the selection of the channel of a digital broadcast receiver when no digital broadcast signal is inputted to the receiver.
      SOLUTION: It is set or detected whether a digital broadcasting antenna 101 is connected or not, and when the antenna is connected, tuning of digital broadcasting is possible, but when the antenna is not connected, tuning is performed except for digital broadcasting.     • PURPOSE: To prevent mis-delivery of an original due to misdesignation of destination by allowing the system to recite the designated designation in voice for notice before the reception of an FAX original.
      CONSTITUTION: A destination check section 6 checks whether the destination stored in a destination reception storage section 3 is a registered destination and connectable or not. Then a voice edition generating section 4 generates the voice of mis-delivery when the destination is in error or generates the voice of destination confirmation notice of delivery information and gives the result to an input subscriber. Then the destination is confirmed, the connection with a line control section 1 is switched to a picture reception section 2 to execute FAX transmission procedure.
