    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus-bar protector which can readily identify a bus-bar on which a failure occurs, even if the number of terminals of auxiliary switches, by which open/close signals of disconnectors are obtained, is reduced. SOLUTION: Respective contacts 2A-2C of auxiliary switches of respective disconnectors 2a-2c are used concurrently for both a circuit 1 and a circuit 2. Two disconnector condition input circuits 16a and 16b are connected to each other with jumper wires 10a-10c. With such a constitution, even if respective one terminal cannot be alotted to each of the disconnectors 2a-2c of one circuit, the terminals corresponding to two lines can be connected to a terminal block 13. A decision circuit 17, which decides whether the open/close signals inputted from respective connection lines 14a-14c and 15a-15c are signals for the circuit 1 or the signals for the circuit 2, is provided, and whether a bus-bar having a failure is bus-bar A 1a or a bus-bar B 1b is decided by the decision circuit 17.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus by which whether an accident is caused or not can be judged on the basis of the detection current of only a line, to be detected, by a method wherein the current of the line, to be detected, which is connected to a non-power-supply end is detected and a locating-start command is output when the detected current exceeds a settling value. SOLUTION: When current detectors 10, 16 are installed at a non-power- supply end 90, a signal at '1' is output from a setting-signal generator 34, the output of a logic gate 28 is changed forcibly to '0', and only the detection current of the current detector 10 is input to a control circuit 36 via an adder 22. Then, when a short circuit accident is generated in a transmission line 80, only the detection current of the current detector 10 is monitored, and, when the detection current exceeds a settling value, a start command is output to a fault locator. Thereby, whether an accident is generated or not can be judged on the basis of the detection current of only a line to be detected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable protective relay converting the setting operation contents of operation conditions into codes, and storing them, and reading out these stored codes, and converting them reversely, and indicating them as the history data of setting operation. SOLUTION: CPU 240 reads out the history of setting operation stored in RAM270, in order. In the case of having inputted the setting conditions from the touch panel type display of a protective relay 100, the setting conditions are transferred once from a storage circuit 175 to the RAM270. The read-out codes are converted into the operation keys corresponding to the key codes by CPU240. This conversion is performed by converting the code allocation reversely, and the converted operation keys are indicated on a flat display 22 through interface 255 for display. Hereby, even after setting, the contents of the setting operation can be checked afresh, so the reliability on setting operation can be improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential current monitor in which a differential current monitoring logic is standardized by substantially eliminating the need for setting a timer at each site.
      SOLUTION: The differential current monitor comprises: a differential current detection circuit 1 for comparing a current flowing into a power facility apparatus with a current flowing out therefrom, and detecting the differential current of unbalance component corresponding to a fault current at the time of tripping a circuit breaker by outputting a trip signal upon occurrence of fault in the apparatus; and a differential current monitoring timer 4 for locking output of the trip signal until the differential current of unbalance component sustains for a predetermined time or longer. The monitor is further provided with: a circuit 2 for detecting the second harmonic from a current signal; and a gate circuit 3 for stopping output from the differential current detection circuit 1 to the differential current monitoring timer 4 when the detected second harmonic is not lower than a predetermined level.
