摘要： A widthwise-compressing machine for applying a compression force through press tools to a material (1) to reduce a width of the material while applying vibrations to said material (1) to forcibly vibrate said material has a compression unit (3) for producing a compression force forming a working force, and a vibration-applying unit (4) for applying the vibration to said material (1). The vibration-applying unit (4) is provided independently of the compression unit (3). In the widthwise-compressing machine, when the material (1) is plastically worked, the material can be vibrated at an extremely high frequency to make it possible to resonate the material, thereby allowing the plastic-deformation thereof to be promoted.

摘要： A variable displacement vane pump includes a first body, a second body, an adapter ring, a cam ring, and a rotor. The first body includes a cylinder portion, and a base portion covering a first longitudinal end of an inner space of the cylinder portion. The second body covers a second longitudinal end of the inner space of the first body. The adapter ring has an outer radial periphery fitted and fixed to an inner radial periphery of the cylinder portion of the first body. 摘要： A fuel supply system for a direct injection engine which has a variable capacity single cylinder plunger pump and two fuel rails (53a, 53b). There are disposed orifices (58, 58') at the upstream side inlets of the both fuel rails (53a, 53b), respectively. At the opposite sides to the inlet sides, the fuel rails (53a, 53b) are interconnected with each other by a connecting pipe (57). By the fuel supply system, it is capable of increasing a characteristic frequency of the fuel columns, and of stabilizing, suppressing, and smoothing out pressure pulsation in the fuel rails (53a, 53b), thereby reducing uneven fuel injections into the cylinders. The system may have a cam (100) which drives a plunger (2) of a high pressure fuel pump (101) to reciprocate once for every two combustion in two engine cylinders.
