    • PURPOSE:To prevent brazing malfunction due to lack of brazing filler metal, flowing drop of molten filler metal by providing an upward barring part at an inner periphery of an end of a channel hole of a lower plate side with an attitude at the time of brazing as a reference, and laminating a plate channel hole of an upper plate side in close contact with the barring part. CONSTITUTION:An upward barring part 5 shaped to an outer diameter phi1 is provided at a lower side plate 1a of a liquid channel hole 2, and an upper side plate 1b is formed with a bore size phi3 and a bore slightly larger than an outer diameter of a wire brazing filler metal 6 as a joint structure. A brazing filler metal to be used is positioned to be engaged with the profile size phi1 of the part 5 as a ringlike wire brazing filler metal 6 having a bore size phi2. Accordingly, since butted surfaces 7 of both the plates 1a and 1b are brazed in a state that its gap is completely reduced to '0' in a close contact laminate, indispensable conditions of brazing connection can be satisfied to obtain high quality of a joint with excellent reliability.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the automated insertion of many tubes without any damage thereon by erecting up a cone type pilot pin fo fitted to one end of an insertion tube as to he detachable, aligning all tubes made upright with an insertion hole and then inserting all the tubes in one lot. CONSTITUTION:Tubes 2 are continuously fed one by one from a tube feed device 10 to an inclined rail 12. And the tubes 2 are arranged on the rail 12 and transferred toward a tube receiver 13. In the course of tube transfer, a pilot pin mounting machine 13 fits a pilot pin 9 to one end of each tube 2, and the tubes 2 fitted with the pin 9 are received by the tube receiver 13 and temporarily kept in a waiting condition. During the aforesaid process, the clamping device 16 of a tube loading device 15 is shifted and made to clamp a plurality of the waiting tubes 2. Then, the device 15 is shifted above a tube cart 17. In this state, the device 16 is turned and the pin 9 is directed up. The tubes 2 are vertically turned and inserted in a guide rod 18. Then, it becomes possible to insert the tubes 2 in the rod 18 smoothly, because the tip of the rod 18 is tapered.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously bend a meandering pipe possessed of various curvatures by fitting plural bending dies split upper and lower parts possessed of different curvatures and plural bending dies driving bodys possessed of a combining and releasing means of the bending dies and a reversely turning means for the bending dies alternately. CONSTITUTION:After the pipe 4 is inserted into a core metal 8 by a feeding device 9 to prepare working, by reverse feeding with the feeding device 9, the tail end of the pipe is brought into contact with a positioning jig 14 to perform positioning. Then, by combining the upper and lower bending dies driving bodies 6a, 6b, the pipe is clamped, when the bending die is rotated in this state, a first pipe bending is completed. After that, the die driving bodies 6a, 6b are released to perform sending out the pipe 4. Subsequently, the die driving bodies 7a, 7b possessed of another curvature are combined to rotate the bending dies to complete a second pipe bending. At this time, the pipe 4 is bent in meandering by turning reversely the rotating direction of the bending work. Thereafter, the above-mentioned actions are performed in the previously set order to advance forward the zigzag pipe bending with different curvatures continuously.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a plurality of the pipes to be expanded to be smoothly expanded at the same time by interposing a seal ring between the nozzle of a pipe expanding nozzle and a keep plate and inserting a pipe expanding pin into the pipe by this pipe expanding nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A pipe expanding pin 2 is inserted into the pipe to be expanded 1 and the nozzle 3a of a pipe expanding nozzle 3 is contacted to its back. The spindle 6a of a liquid pressure ram 6 is operated to advance the pipe expanding nozzle 3a by way of a mounting plate 4 and force-insert the pipe expanding pin 2 into the pipe to be expanded 1. Thence, when the nozzle 3a is retreated by operating the spindle 6a, the seal ring 3b interposed behind the nozzle 3a expands by receiving compressive force and makes close contact with the inside surface of the pipe to be expanded 1. When liquid pressure is next applied to the back of the pipe expanding pin 2 through the liquid pressure passage 5 provided to the mounting plate 4, then the pipe expanding pin 2 advances while expanding the pipe to be expanded 1. At the same time, the seal ring 3b expands further to perfectly seal the inside surface of the pipe to be expanded 1. By this mechanism, flaring may be abolished and the saving of work cost achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a method for joining an opening part of a heat transfer plate with a fluid inlet-outlet part, to avoid stress concentration in a joining part and to prevent breakdown of a connecting part, mixing of a fluid and a leakage thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a plate type heat exchanger wherein a plurality of heat transfer plates 2 having indentations formed are stacked in a holding vessel 3, a wave-shaped recession 9 is provided in the immediate periphery of an opening part of a heat transfer plate 2' joining with a fluid inlet-outlet piping 7 or a wave-shaped ring is interposed between the holding vessel 3 and the opening part of the heat transfer plate 2' joining with the vessel, so as to give a shape reducing of a thermal stress applied to the joining part of the inlet-outlet piping 7 of a high-temperature or low-temperature fluid or the holding vessel 3 with the opening part of the heat transfer plate. By this structure, the thermal stress in a connecting part of the heat transfer plate with the fluid inlet-outlet part can be reduced sharply and the durability and reliability can be improved by preventing breakdown of the connecting part and liquid junction of the fluid. Besides, the degree of freedom of selection of materials of the heat transfer plate, the fluid inlet-outlet piping and the holding vessel is increased, which is advantageous to practical use.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a fully satisfactory welding quality even for a narrow space of sheet metal structure by welding with a welding torch accurately positioned against a line to be welded while always closely adhering a superposed part to form an integrated joint. CONSTITUTION:With a clamp arm 16 opened, three sets of pinching rollers 14 are provided with a little space for an inner circumferential end part 6. Then, when the clamp arm 16 is rotated clockwise, a shaft 13 in the long groove of a supporting plate 12 is turned outward by the action of a long groove of a clamp plate 15, in other words, the pinching rollers 14 provided on the shaft are butted against the inner circumferential end part 6. As a result, the inner circumferential end part of a liquid path hole constituted of two sheets of heating plates, 1b and 2a, 2a and 2b, etc., is bitten in by the center V-shaped grooves of the rollers 14, and is positioned, making ready an integrated joint without space before welding. In addition, the target position of the welding torch 7 for a proper arc point is constantly maintained in the center position through the function of the three sets of pinching rollers, and welding is carried out on the optimum conditions.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion-resistance and air-tightness by a method wherein heat transfer plate is made of a mild steel plate such as SPCC conforming to JIS and jointed by brazing with oxygen-free copper brazing filler metal. CONSTITUTION:The raw material of a heat transfer plate 1 is of SPCC conforming to JIS and the shapes of heat transfer surfaces, peripheral parts and passages of two fluids that exchange heat with each other are formed by press. The heat transfer plates 1 and oxygen-free copper brazing filler metal are put on top of each other in the specified number of sheets and an inlet pipe 3 and an outlet pipe 4 are placed on the heat transfer plate 1 via oxygen- free copper brazing filler metal. Then, they are placed together in a vacuum furnace and heated and brazed, so that joints 2, 5 and 6 between the heat transfer plates 1 and joints 7 between the inlet pipe 3 and outlet pipe 4 and the heat transfer plates l are brazed with oxygen-free copper brazing filler metal. Thereby, the air-tightness and corrosion resistance are improved.
