摘要： Heat exchanger with several heat transfer plates which are combined to a stack over whose separate faces different fluids flow away where the flow allows a heat exchange between the fluids. Specifically, each of the heat transfer plates (8, 36, 40) has flat end sections (9, 10) and a middle section (11) which connects the end sections. Each middle section is so formed that it has several continuous, longitudinally extending, alternating corrugations (12) so that there are alternating back sections and troughs (14). The heat transfer plates are so combined to a stack that the back sections of adjacent plates are in contact to form flow channels (15) which consist of facing troughs. The back section and troughs have a generally semi-circular cross-section form.

摘要： A vacuum processing unit and apparatus comprises a buffer chamber that can be evacuated, a processing chamber that can be communicated with said buffer chamber a first sample carrier installed in said buffer chamber, a vacuum opening/closing device provided in the buffer chamber to correspond to the first sample carrier, a vacuum prechamber provided for the buffer chamber via the vacuum opening/closing device, a second sample carrier which carries the sample between the vacuum prechamber and the first sample carrier via the vacuum opening/closing device, and a third sample carrier which carries the sample between said first sample carrier and the processing chamber. The vacuum processing units can be connected in groups via vacuum opening/closing devices provided for the buffer chambers in locations corresponding to the end of the first sample carriers therein. The number of connected processing chambers can be freely changed to meet a change in the process or the manufacturing line.

摘要： A device (D) for producing a polymer with a high viscosity utilizes a cylindrical or conical reactor with an internal stirrer. The stirrer has a multiple of frame-like agitators mounted one above each other and offset with a specified angle between each frame. The elimination of a central carrying shaft between each agitator frame reduces the accumulation of unagitated materials and there is less adherence of polymer to the frames. A process (P) for producing high viscosity polymer in the reactor is claimed where agitation occurs until the final high viscosity polymer is obtd. USE/ADVANTAGE - (D) is used to produce high performance materials such as fluid crystal polymers and polyacrylates. (D) reduces unagitated material and clinging of polymer to the agitator frame. Quality of product is thus improved. (P) is simpler and therefore process costs are reduced. (D) allows production of high molecular weight polycondensation products.

摘要： A temperature control method for a reversing type heat exchanger group wherein an outlet temperature of reheating gas of an arbitrarily selected reversing type heat exchanger which serves as a reference in the reversing heat exchanger group is rendered equal in value to a reference control temperature set beforehand in such a manner so as to satisfy the sweeping temperature difference. The outlet temperatures of the reheating gas in the other reversing type heat exchangers of the reversing type heat exchanger group are rendered equal in value to the outlet temperature of the reheating gas in the reversing type heat exchanger serving as the reference. Thus, the temperature of the cold end of all of the reversing type heat exchangers of the reversing type heat exchanger group are caused to be balanced equally whereby ice and dry ice deposited on the feed water channels can be effectively removed by a sweeping action.

摘要： In a continuous sugar evaporator-crystallizer having a plurality of evaporating-crystallizing vessels as stages, each evaporating-crystallizing stages being communicated one to another in series and being provided with a means for feeding an aqueous sugar solution, a heating means and a means for withdrawing generated steam, by feeding an aqueous sugar solution to each evaporating-crystallizing stage, heating the aqueous sugar solution in each evaporating-crystallizing stage, thereby evaporating water off the aqueous sugar solution and crystallizing sugar crystals, and withdrawing the generated steam from each of the stages, while feeding seed sugar crystals to the first evaporating-crystallizing stage and withdrawing the resulting sugar crystal slurry from the last evaporating-crystallizing stage, sugar crystals of high quality is obtained in the slurry with an effective suppression of occurrence of conglomerated sugar grains by providing sugar crystal distances of 0.26 to 0.59 mm in the solution in the first evaporating-crystallizing stage, and feeding the aqueous sugar solution to each of intermediate evaporating-crystallizing stages excluding the first and last evaporating-crystallizing stages at a substantially equal feed rate, and making the feed rate of the aqueous sugar solution to the first evaporating-crystallizing stage at least 1.5 times the feed rate to each of the intermediate evaporating-crystallizing stages.
