    • PURPOSE:To devise to change the capacity rate between a freezing and a refrigerating chamber and to strengthen a partition wall by equipping a partition duct plate in a cold air blowoff part to a freezing chamber and a switching damper in a pressure chamber and shaping a damper frame and the partition wall in one body. CONSTITUTION:When a switching damper 30 is operated to connect a passage 28 with a pressure chamber 25, cold air is mostly blown off to a freezing chamber 5, and the remainder is conducted through a passage 26, the pressure chamber 25, and the passage 28 to be returned to a cooler 11. The cold air in the freezing chamber 5 is sucked into a passage 21 through a suction port 20, and distributed by a damper thermostat 23; on one way it is conducted through a passage 22 to cool a freezing-refrigerating chamber 6, and returned to the cooler 11 through a suction port 29, and on another way, it is respectively returned to the cooler 11 through the pressure chamber 25 and the passage 28, making the switching chamber 6 a refrigerating chamber. In this construction, a partition wall is shaped in one body with a damper frame, and the sliding part of the damper is kept higher than the bottom of the partition wall for strengthening the partition wall and preventing the sliding part of the damper from freezing.

    • PURPOSE:To devise to change capacities of a freezing and a refrigerating chamber by providing a freezing chamber, a switching chamber, and a partition wall, and equipping a partition duct plate at a cold air blowoff part to the freezing chamber and a switching damper in a pressure chamber respectively to be operated by a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A switching damper 30 is set to connect a passage 28 with a pressure chamber 25 and to close a cold air blowoff port 24. The cold air is mainly blown off to a freezing chamber 5 through a duct 33, and the remainder is returned to a cooler 11 through a passage 26, the pressure chamber 25, and the passage 28. The cold air in the freezing chamber 5 is sucked into a passage 21 through a cold air suction port 20 on a partition wall 10a, and distributed by a damper thermostat 23; on one way it is returned to the cooler 11 from the pressure chamber 25, and on another way it cools a freezing-refrigerating chamber 6 to be returned respectively to the cooler 11 through a suction port 29, making the switching chamber 6 a refrigerating chamber. The chamber can be switched over to a freezing chamber by the operation of the switching damper 30. Since a changeover switch 35 is cut off by this operation, frosting-preventing heaters 34 and 35 are cut off for preventing insufficient cooling.

    • PURPOSE:To devise to change the rate of capacities between a refrigerating and a freezing chamber according to the necessity by using a cooler, a fan, switching damper, a temperature regulator for each, and two damper thermostats. CONSTITUTION:When a switching damper 30 is operated to open a cold air passage 28, the cold air is partly conducted through a duct plate 13 to be blown off into a freezing chamber from a cold-air blowing off exit 17, and the remainder is conducted through a passage 26, a compressing chamber 25, and the passage 28 tube returned to a cooler 11. The cold air in the freezing chamber 5 is sucked into a cold air passage 21 through a cold air suction port 20. The cold air is checked to be blown into a switching chamber 6 by a damper thermostat 23 provided in a passage 22 to regulate the cold air automatically, and returned to the cooler 11 through the passage 28, while the cold air in the switching chamber 6 is also returned to the cooler 11 through a passage 29. In this circulation, the switching chamber 6 can be used as a refrigerating chamber. Similarly, when the switching damper 30 is operated to close the cold air passage 28, the freezing-refrigerating chamber can be used as a freezing chamber.

    • PURPOSE:To make the temperature adjustable as occasion need in a chamber which is avilable for freezing or refrigerating, by fitting a sensing unit of thermal controller to a place where the state of temperature in the chamber is well represented. CONSTITUTION:When a switch damper 30 is in a position as shown in the figure, air cooled by a cooler 11 reaches a fan 15, and most part of the cold air enters a freezing chamber 5 through a blow-off hole 17 and the rest enters a pressure chamber 25 and then returns to the cooler 11 through a passage 28. The cold air in the freezing chamber 5 returns to a versatile chamber 6 through a damper thermo 43 for controlling the cold air flow. In this case the chamber 6 is used for refrigeration. When the switch damper 30 is transfered as shown by a broken line in the figure, the versatile chamber 6 is switched for freezing use. The temperature in the chamber 6 can quickly be adjusted to a set level, by fitting a thermal controller 34 in the freezing chamber 5, being connected in parallel with a supplementary thermal controller 35 in the chamber 6 and in series with a compressor 8.

CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator comprises the freezing chamber 5 which is closed with a door 2, the cold storage chamber which is closed with a door 3 and the freezing/storage chamber 6 which is closed with a door 4 and serves as a changeable chamber. To use the freezing/storage chamber 6 as a cold storage chamber, a damper 30 is shifted to connect a cold air passage 28 to a pressure chamber 25 and shut off a passage coupled to a cold air blow-off port 24. In that state, most of cold air from a cooler 11 is conducted from a blow-off port 17 into the freezing chamber 5 by a blower 15 and a part of the cold air in the freezing chamber 5 is introduced into the freezing/storage chamber 6 through passages 20, 22. To use the chamber 6 as a freezing chamber, the damper 30 is operated to open the passage coupled to the blow-off port 24.

    • PURPOSE:A freezing chamber is provided at the upper part and a switching chamber at the lower part via a partitioning wall. A refrigerator is placed at the back of the switching chamber. To form a series of cold air passages, a partitioning duct plate and a aswitching damper are provided, and thereby the volumes of the cold storage and the freezing chamber are increasd or decreased. CONSTITUTION:Freezing chamber 5 and freezing-cold storage chamber 6, which is a switching chamber, are partitioned by partitioning wall 10, and a refrigerator is placed at the back wall part of switching chamber 6. Cold air from refrigerator 11 passes through duct plate 13, and the greater part of it is ejected from cold air ejection port 17 into the freezing chamber. The remainder is ejected from passage 26 formed by duct plate 13 and partitioning duct plate 19 into pressure chamber 25, then it passes through passage 28 and returns to refrigerator 11. Cold air in freezing chamber 5 passes through passage 22 which has passage 21 and damper thermo 23 from suction port 20, and then it is ejected into cold storage chamber and pressure chamber 25. Switching damper 30 provided in pressure chamber 25 selects the chamber into which cold air is to be sent. By this, it is possible to increase or decrease the volumes of the cold storage chamber and the freezing chamber.
