    • PURPOSE:To attain ease of calculation of time axis fluctuation and to miniaturize a device by using a signal having a waveform where a part of amplitude of a reference signal is changed in proportion to time as a time axis reference signal inserted in a video signal at the recording side. CONSTITUTION:The leading edge of a synchronizing signal SYN included in the video signal is detected and a burst signal BST of sawtooth wave is inserted after a fixed time from this point of time. A point crossing a level of a prescribed value a0 in one period of the burst signal is detected by using three sampling values a1-a3. The difference between the sampling values and a prescribed value is checked sequentially and reset is applied when the difference is negative at the sampling value a3, and a time tx of zero cross point is obtained by using the two sampling values a1, a2 before the a3. The extent of time axis correction is obtained from the shift tx.

The microprocessor 5 recognizes the battery state based on the two information and issues a command on the contents of the remaining amount display on the display device 4. The display device 4 performs the required display according to the command. Thus, the more accurate battery remaining amount can be displayed based on the discharge characteristic of the battery at the temperature by detecting the surrounding temperature and the proper time of exchanging the battery can be shown to the user.

    • PURPOSE:To improve an operation convenience by automatically turning-on or turning- off a light for photographing according to a situation by automatically turning-on or turning-off the light according to the illuminance of an object. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitted through a photographing lens system 1 is inputted through an iris 2 to an image pickup element 3. The output signal is transmitted through an AGC amplifier 4 and a signal processing circuit 5, and turned to a video signal S1. A microprocessor 8 outputs an iris control signal S4 to an iris driving circuit 6, and outputs an AGC control signal S3 to the AGC amplifier 4, based on a luminance level signal S2 outputted from the circuit 5 and a stop value information signal S5 from a stop value detecting circuit, so that a processing for an automatic exposure control can be attained. When an object illuminance is less than a prescribed illuminance, the iris 2 is fully opened, and the amplification factor of the amplifier 4 is increased. Moreover, when the illuminance is decreased, and less than the normal illuminance, the light 10 is turned on by a light control circuit 9 by a light control signal S6 from the processor 8. And also, when the illuminance is more than the normal illuminance, the light 10 is turned off by the circuit 9.

CONSTITUTION:An inverted output J and an uninverted output K are obtained from an input signal I. Buffer amplifiers 12 and 13 serve as a delay circuit and an inverting circuit and AND circuits 14 and 15 generate pulses N and O having constant pulse widths corresponding to the rising and falling of a modulated signal from input signals J and L, and K and M. Comparators 16 and 17 correct variances of rising and falling characteristics of the input signal I, characteristics of the AND circuits N and O, and characteristics between inverted and uninverted outputs of the buffer amplifiers 12 and 13; the comparator 16 is set to a fixed threshold level and the comparator 17 is set to a variable threshold level. The output of the comparators 16 and 17 are ORed by an OR circuit 18 to obtain a demodulated signal through an LPF19.
