    • A fossil fuel combustion thermal power system including a carbon dioxide separation and capture unit comprising: a fossil fuel combustion thermal power system including a boiler for burning fossil fuel and generating steam and a steam turbine including a high-pressure turbine driven by the steam generated by the boiler for generating power, and a carbon dioxide separation and capture unit including an absorption tower for absorbing and capturing carbon dioxide included in the exhaust gas discharged from the boiler by burning fossil fuel in the boiler of the fossil fuel combustion thermal power system and a reproduction tower of an absorbing solution for separating carbon dioxide from the absorbing solution absorbing carbon dioxide by circulating the absorbing solution between the reproduction tower and the absorption tower, the fossil fuel combustion thermal power system including the carbon dioxide separation and capture unit further comprising: a back-pressure turbine driven by extraction steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine of the fossil fuel combustion thermal power system through an extraction pipe; a reboiler for supplying heating steam to the reproduction tower of the carbon dioxide separation and capture unit; a steam pipe for supplying steam flowing down through the back-pressure turbine of the fossil fuel combustion thermal power system to the reboiler as a heat source; an emergency relief pipe interconnected to the extraction pipe for supplying the extraction steam extracted from the high-pressure turbine of the fossil fuel combustion thermal power system to the back-pressure turbine for permitting the extraction steam flowing down through the extraction pipe to bypass the back-pressure turbine and flow down to a condenser; and an emergency relief valve installed on the emergency relief pipe for controlling flow of the extraction steam through the emergency relief pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fossil fuel burning thermal power system including a carbon dioxide separation and recovery device, using extraction steam of a steam turbine for the carbon dioxide separation and recovery device, even when urgently stopping the carbon dioxide separation and recovery device, suppressing a load change on the fossil fuel burning thermal power system, continuously and stably operating, and increasing power generation output. SOLUTION: The power system has a second low-pressure turbine provided separately from a first low-pressure turbine of a main turbine and increases generation power as the whole plant by receiving its surplus steam in the second low-pressure turbine. A steam supply piping system safely sends air to a carbon dioxide separation and recovery device side even when a back-pressure turbine is stopped urgently in a system providing the back-pressure turbine and supplying supply steam while recovering energy of the same.     • PURPOSE:To dissolve a problem on fatigue crack occasioned by a fluctuation in a condensate temperature at a part where a sleeve is mounted to the pipe end connection part of the outlet of a heat transfer pipe, by a method wherein, in a heat exchanger being of a system wherein heated steam is condensed in a heat transfer pipe, a sleeve is mounted to the pipe end connection part of the outlet of a heat transfer pipe. CONSTITUTION:In an outlet part 19 of a heat transfer pipe 6, a heat transfer pipe 6 is secured and supported to a tube plate 7 by welding at 20, and is mounted in a state to cover the weld part 20 with a sleeve 22. The sleeve 22 is secured to a heat transfer pipe 6 on the steam upper stream side 23 and is secured at an outlet part 24 to the tube plate 7, and a space 25 is formed between the weld part 20 at a pipe end and the sleeve 22. Therefore, overcooled condensate 15 flows over the sleeve 22, and the temperature change of condensate 15 is hardly propagated to the weld part 20 due to the effect of the space 25. This constitution prevents production of a repeat thermal stress, by which the occurrence of crack is caused, at the weld port 20, and enables provision of a heater having high reliability.

    • PURPOSE:To perform effective utilization of space in the nests of tubes and improve a maintenance characteristic by a method wherein at least one heating steam chamber of a first stage and a second stage heaters is stored in a barrel, the heating steam chamber is closely arranged to reduce a diameter of the barrel and the other heating device can be moved up and down with respect to a pulling of the heating device. CONSTITUTION:Discharged steam 11 from a high pressure turbine flows from an inlet pipe 9 at a lower part of a barrel and its moisture content is removed by a moisture content separator 2. After this operation, the steam is heated by a first stage heater 3 and a second stage heater 4. The steam becomes an over-heated steam and then the steam is sent from an outlet pipe 10 to a low pressure turbine. A heating steam chamber 5a of the first stage heater and a heating steam chamber 5b of the second stage heater are moved by their central positions by a size A in a longitudinal direction of the barrel. The first stage heating steam chamber 5a and the second stage heating chamber 5b are located at a position where they are overlapped by a size B in respect to a flowing direction of heated steam 11. As a required diameter of the barrel 1, it is possible to reduce it by the size B and then the barrel can be made compact. In case that it is required to pull out the first stage heater 3, the second stage heater 4 is hung upside, thereby a pulling of only the first stage heater can be performed.
