    • PURPOSE:To decrease generation of light interference fringes in image pickup under fluorescent light and to permit satisfactory image pickup with good image quality by making the light transmission band of dichroic filters into the band including 436nm bright line spectrum. CONSTITUTION:A stripe groups 12 having dyed org. resin type yellow stripe filters 12a-12c which shut off the other primary color, i.e., blue light, among three primary colors and allow transmission of the other primary color light at prescribed periods and having the width of 1/2 said period are formed on a light transmittable glass substrate 10. A stripe group 15 having dichroic stripe filters 15a-15c which shut off only the red light including 436nm bright line spectrum of mercury and allow transmission of the other primary color light at prescribed periods and having the width of 1/2 said period is constituted on the group 12 so as to intersect with the extending direction 14 of the filters 12a-12c and the extending direction 16 thereof. If the filter is constituted in the above-mentioned manner, the light interference fringes having 3-10% density difference equal to the density difference of the color separating filter constituted of the dyed org. resin type filters are obtd. and the filter is substantially worthy of practicable use.

    • PURPOSE:To improve resolution and quality of a picture while forming an adhesive layer thinly and uniformly by supplying adhesives on a color resolving filter forming surface followed by making a thin plate glass sheet to adhere with pressure while being heated. CONSTITUTION:A hardening agent is added into epoxy resin and stirred to regulate adhesives followed by removing bubbles in said adhesives by means of vacuum defoaming and removing it into a microcylinder 8. On the other hand, the other side of a face plate 1 made of glass coated by a color resolution filter 2 on one side is set on a flat pressing frame 7. A proper quantity of adhesives 3 is dropped from the microcylinder 8 on said filter surface followed by laminating a thin plate glass sheet 4 having the thickness of about 30mum thereon. Thereafter, the thin plate glass sheet 4 is pressed on the filter surface vertically to said plate surface for adhering by means of a jig 9 heated up to 35-140 deg.C followed by further putting said face plate composite into a heating furnace to be heated at about 70 deg.C for about three hours for hardening the adhesives 3.

    • PURPOSE:To enable measurement with high accuracy without requiring cleaning and drying operations, and suspending dyeing, by measuring optical characteristics of a dyed thin film in a dyeing-stabilized transparent soln. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 2 made of a high mol.wt. substance, such as natural protein is formed on one side of a transparent glass base 1, and the obtained body to be dyed is immersed in a dyeing soln. 3 made of an acidic dye to dye it in prescribed conditions. Then, it is immersed in an acidic soln. and its light transmittance is measured there with a light guide type photometer. A light emit ting guide 5 and a light receiving guide 6 are arranged at a prescribed interval, and each of their end faces 7, 8 is opposite to each other across the body. The light transmittance is determined by measuring an amt. of light received with the guide 6, and when additional dyeing is necessary, the body is again immersed in the dyeing soln. to dye it for a time length estimated in accordance with the measured result. When it is overdyed, it is immersed in an alkaline decoloring soln. to decolor it for a estimated time.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of white defect, so as to improve the quality of a screen by providing a substrate holding member on the entire surface of a high frequency discharge electrode plate before a light transmission electrode is formed on a light transmission substrate, fixing the substrate on the substrate holding member, and by etching the substrate surface by discharge ion. CONSTITUTION:A light transmission glass substrate 1 is fixed to a target electrode 10 through a substrate holding member 12 made of Al2O3, SiO2, ZrO2 and so on, and after exhaustion is carried out in an airtight container 14 into a high vacuum state, an inert gas, or Ar gas in this example, is introduced therein, so as to stabilize the pressure in the container 14. A high frequency voltage is then applied to the elec trode 10, so as to have discharging generated, and the surface of the substrate 1 is ion-etched by the discharge ion thus generated. A light transmission electrode 2, a hole injection blocking layer 7, a photoconductive layer 8, an electron injection blocking layer 9 are deposited and formed in turn, and are built into a image pickup tube box body in which an electron gun is stored, and a photoconductive image pickup tube is thus obtained. The generation of white defect is prevented thereby, and an excellent high sensitivity image can be obtained due to avalanche multiplication in the photoconductive layer.

    • PURPOSE:To steepen an absorption characteristic and to obtain an image having high fidelity in color reproduction by providing magenta filters having the spectral transmittance coinciding with the spectral transmittivity of cyan filters in at least the part where the cyan filters do not exist. CONSTITUTION:A cyan stripe filter group 1, a magenta stripe filter group 3 and a yellow stripe filter group 2 are formed to cross each other. Mosaic parts F1-F4 by the group 1 alone, the groups 3 alone, the intersection of the groups 1, 2 and the intersection of the groups 3, 2 are constituted. The transmittivity characteristics in the respective parts are designated as I1-I4. The characteristic I3 coincides with the characteristic I1 in the region 400-560nm wavelength in the part up to the max. value on the short wavelength side thereof. The light in the short wavelength region is no more modulated by the group 1 by setting the average transmittivity between 620-680nm of the group 1 at 5-8%, by which the incorporation of the light in said part into a red channel signal is prevented. The characteristic I3 is along the characteristic I1 in a 500-560 region. The characteristic I3 has a high transmittance by inversion after having a bottom part. The half-value wavelength of the characteristic I1 is shifted to the long wavelength side by such characteristic, by which the absorption characteristic is steepened.
