摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose efficiently high concentration ammonia and inhibit the by-production of NOx by incorporating an oxide carrier, Ag and a specified element in a catalyst for oxidatively decomposing ammonia out of exhaust gas containing specified concentration ammonia, oxygen and water vapor. SOLUTION: An ammonia decomposition catalyst is used for oxidatively decomposing ammonia in exhaust gas containing ammonia of 100-30,000ppm, oxygen and water vapor, and contains at least one kind or more selected out of titania, alumina, silica and zeolite as an oxide carrier and at least one kind or more selected out of Ag, Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, V and W as a catalyst active component formed on a surface layer of the carrier. It is preferable that the atom is ratio of Ag of the catalyst active component at the ratio of 0.2-0.01 is contained to one part of the oxide carrier and that the atomic ratio of Fe, Mn, Zn, Mo, V or W of the catalyst active component at the ratio of 0.1-0.001 is contained therein to one part of the oxide carrier.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat highly concn. ammonia nitrogen contained in waste water of the treatment plant, waste water of sewerage treatment equipment, waste water of amine producing plant, waste water of excretion treatment equipment or waste water of a food manufacturing plant under low temp. and low pressure environment by using a catalyst. SOLUTION: Waste water is brought into contact with a waste water purifying catalyst composed of a mixture of a first active component being at least one kind of metal selected from Pt, Pd, Rh, Au, Ag and Ru, a second active component being at least one kind of oxide of metal selected from Mn, Co, Ni, Fe, Ce, V and Mo and a conductive carrier pref. being activated carbon in the presence of oxygen of which the amt. is 2.0 times or more a theoretical oxygen amt. necessary for decomposing ammonia nitrogen. This waste water method is adapted to the highly conc. ammonia nitrogen oxidative decomposition column of a waste water treatment plant to be effectively executed. By this constitution, ammonia nitrogen can be easily and certainly removed from waste water and this method can largely contribute to the enhancement of environmental purification.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat ammonia nitrogen by adjusting to a specific pH in each process at the time of collecting and removing a suspended solid material in a waste water containing high concentration ammonia nitrogen, adding an alkali to adsorb and remove organic materials and heavy metal ions and successively adding an oxidizing agent to oxidation decompose the high concentration ammonia nitrogen. SOLUTION: The high concentration ammonia nitrogen-containing waste water 1 is introduced into a sedimentation process 2 to collect and remove the suspended solid material in the waste water and next, introduced into a 1st pH adjusting process 3. The waste water 1 is adjusted to pH 3-6 in the pH adjusting process by adding the alkali agent 4 and after that, introduced into an adsorption process 5 to adsorb and remove the organic materials and heavy metal ions remaining in the waste water. Next, after the oxidizing agent 6 is added in the waste water after absorption removal treatment, the waste water is introduced into an oxidation decomposition process 7 to oxidation decompose ammonia nitrogen, successively introduced into a 2nd pH adjusting process 8 to be adjusted to pH 7-8 by adding the alkali agent 4 and discharged as a final purified waste water 11.

摘要： PURPOSE: To efficiently treat a waste water containing nitrogen compounds by providing an oxidation process of oxidation-decomposing the nitrogen compounds by adding an oxidizing agent to the waste water and a reduction process of reducing the oxidation product by adding a reducing agent to the oxidation treated waste water. CONSTITUTION: The nitrogen compound-containing waste water 1 mixed with the oxidizing agent 2 is sufficiently mixed in an oxidation mixer 3 to be introduced into the oxidation process 4. In the oxidation process 4, the nitrogen compounds in the waste water, particularly ammonium ion, is oxidation- decomposed to mainly produce nitrogen, nitrate ion and nitrite ion. After that, the resultant material mixed with the reducing agent 5 is sufficiently mixed in a reduction mixer 6, and introduced into the reduction process 7. In addition, in the reduction process 7, the reduction reaction of nitrate ion and nitrite ion proceeds to convert them into nitrogen. The resultant material is circulated to the oxidation process 4 through a circulation line 8 to remove ammonium ion and nitrate ion and to obtain a purified waste water 9.

The heat of the combustion waste gas of a catalyst tower 16 is used as a heat source at this time. The desorbed methyl bromide is heated by the heat of the combustion waste gas of the catalyst tower 16 with a heat exchanger, then supplied to the catalyst tower 16 and subjected to combustion decomposition there to produce hydrogen bromide. This decomposed gas containing the hydrogen bromide is absorbed in a sodium hydroxide soln. at an absorption tower 20 to produce harmless sodium bromide.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaner capable of efficiently creating a comfortable environment in a room. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaning section 3 consists of a dust collector 5, a deodorizer 6 and a firs air fan 7 which makes a draft through those devices, and an oxygen-enriching section 4 is composed of oxygen enriching membranes 8, a vacuum pump 9 and an second air fan 10 which draws a draft through those devices. The second air fan 10 takes in air from a space where the first air fan 7 sucks and discharges air or an another space, supplies air onto the surface on one side of each oxygen enriching membrane 8, and delivers the oxygen-enriched air, which is obtained by reducing pressure on the other sides of the oxygen-enrichment membranes 8, into an air supply duct of the first air fan 7. The air which does not permeate the oxygen-enriching membranes 8 and is low in oxygen concentration is discharged to a space other than the space where the first air fan 7 sucks and discharges air. Thereby, as the total amount of cleaned air is returned into a room, air cleaning is efficiently carried out and the oxygen-enriched air having a high oxygen concentration is delivered along with the cleaned air.

As the adsorbent 3, porous bodies such as well-known activated charcoal, zeolite, porous ceramics, silicagel and the like or a simple substance or complex of metal oxides such as titanium oxide, zinc oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide and the like are used while taking the form of a honeycomb, sponge, net, fiber or a plate etc. The adsorbent heater 7 and the catalyst heater 8 both use heater wires. To regenerate the adsorbent while closing a shutter 11, a regenerating pump 6 is actuated and then air is sucked from a regenerating air inlet port 37 and odor components heated by the adsorbent heater 7 and emitted are permitted to go along the air flow and are deodorized and made harmless by the catalyst 5 which is heated by the catalyst heater 8 and activated.
